@@ninakrzyzanskinaturfotografie I got sent the zip-line about 12months ago but never got around to testing it. It really surprised me how fun it was to use and how great the shots came out. I might very well do a dedicated video on the zip-line in the future, I'm curious to see how it would perform with a 360 camera attached so that the framing could be adjusted in post.

Very useful tips for shots as well as how they can go together. I love the mix and it definitely kept me interested. I can't really answer the question about solo/camera man ... I watch several adventure creators shooting by themselves and always enjoy and then I think about how much work and backtracking they did to get themselves and vehicles etc. into the footage. But while I am watching, if the creator is good, I never think about it :) ... same with this. I knew you were shooting solo but I got intrigued with the sequence.

Great video. I wish they made gimbels for my pone (mid-range Samsung A54). But it seems like they don't. I did learn a lot from your video!
@stefw0200
@stefw0200 Ай бұрын
There are gimbals out there that do not depend on smartphone camera app of the gimbal manufacturer for tracking but have a small hardware module/camera which works independently. A little bit more expensive (e.g. Zhiyun Smooth-5S AI) but IMO the far better solution if you want to use your gimbal for years independently from smartphone type, OS version etc. Furthermore you can use any video app of your choice, e.g. FiLMiC Pro or Blackmagic and don't depend on the often limited, unstable app of the gimbal manufacturer

Wow! Excellent guidance and so we illustrated. Thanks 🙏 I’ve used many of those techniques I was pleased to realise. The zip line was totally new to me though and I’m still considering a smart gimbal for my iPhone (you’ve sold me on the idea!). My DJI Mini 3 Pro is indeed what I would use for those low following shots rather than a zip line. This was a valuable watch so thanks again. I will subscribe!

I can underline all of your tips. I also use the Wiral lite flying cam, whenever possible, although it is sometimes a pain in the ass to set everything up, if you are traveling alone... Your location for this demo was ideal, because so secluded with nearly no other tourist... But imagine the normal situation, where it is maybe a risk, leaving the 1200$+ iPhone behind you to walk away 20 meters... Good luck 😬🤪
@LearnOnlineVideo
@LearnOnlineVideo Жыл бұрын
Hey @WasmitReisen, I agree, The Wiral Lite flying cam can be a fantastic tool, although it can sometimes be a bit cumbersome to set up, especially when traveling alone. Location choice is key with all of these shots, this location was perfect for demonstration purposes but capturing solo Broll in the city (or any built up areas) is much more challenging. Personally, I would avoid leaving camera gear unattended altogether in busy locations and focus on shots using an extension pole combined with cutaway shots. This would allow you to capture both shots of yourself and your location but still keep all your equipment safe. Thanks for watching.
@WasmitReisen

@@LearnOnlineVideo that's the reason, why I meanwhile love my Insta 360 One RS 1" ... it allows interesting angles and surprising views, has - because of the 1" chip and the Leica lens - a very good quality even after framing -- and it stays next to me, connected through the short or long invisible Stick 🙂
@WasmitReisen
@WasmitReisen Жыл бұрын
@@LearnOnlineVideo ... and, "one little more thing"... I just bought the Hover Air X "Flying selfie stick" it's a no brainer concerning operation (only 125 gramm) and is meanwhile my must have for follow or dolby shots. So easy - even, if you have to do a moderation, because the app filters all drone noise nearly perfectly...
@madeiraislander
@madeiraislander Жыл бұрын
@@WasmitReisen Hey there, how are you liking your Hover Air X? I've been researching it, and it looks pretty cool! Can it detect branches and stuff if you film in a forest? or will it fly straight into stuff?
@WasmitReisen
@WasmitReisen Жыл бұрын
@@madeiraislander my experience right now is, that the hover can avoid obstacles very very well in follow mode. But if you choose dolly mode (camera in front of you, filming you while flying backwards), there is no object detection, and the hover would crash if something is in the flight pass
