Dang you were pretty spot on👌🏼 haha. Only thing I have to add is I shoot mostly 24 rather than 35, and most of my toning/color is in the RGB curves, then subtle split tone. Good job guys🤘🏼

i love photographers who make a statement with their photos! i notice a lot of instagram photographers take extremely attractive people and just place them in front of a backdrop. there's nothing wrong with that but I see them getting more praise then the more unique photographers!
@lendumore6 жыл бұрын
Kaya Faye instagram is full of average photographers with averagge photos that rely heavily on tone curves and saturation to get likes. Completely defeats the purpose of the artform

The best part about your channel is that your videos are based on completely new concepts.
@kris4y557 жыл бұрын
I'm becoming obsessed with this channel. I'm a student and I study art and we have to do a lot of photography but we never learn how to edit pictures or what to do to make them interesting because we don't get assessed on that but I really enjoy making my photos interesting and aesthetically pleasing and this channel is helping me a lot since I don't have many things to shoot in my area.
@yusan927 жыл бұрын
You know what? If you asked me now, "who is my favorite photographer?", then my answer is both of you. Great job as always, it's hard to make a video/photo looks cinematic or great, but it's harder to inspire others like you guys did. Thanks for the inspiration!

@DaDavidVids7 жыл бұрын
Brandon has another, behind-the-scenes Instagram account if you want to learn more about his style and what he does. It's characterized by an overall dreamy, young, exciting feel. He achieves this using creative tricks like glass prisms and CD's in front of the lens, light sources which emphasize bokeh (LED copper string lights, sparklers, carnivals, glitter, you name it), very shallow depth of field within 85mm focal length, masks in Lightroom to minimize facial shadows, perfectionistic editing so that nothing is out of place, and cooler color temperatures. Sometimes he'll even Photoshop in some bokeh for a composite. He adds white bars to make the 4:6 a square, and is very incredibly consistent in his approach to art. Combine with beautiful models in natural, free poses and you're doing the Brandon Woelfel! But...while perhaps inspired by some, did he copy someone? He essentially branded his own look, which is even a popular hashtag now. So I encourage you to go do your own thing and be creative with it! Mango Street---thanks for yet another enlightening video. You two are my favorite photography channel now.

What an amazing video, just a simple question, just wondering when shooting Sam Kolder's style picture with F5.6, do I have to switch back my lens from auto focus to manual focus just to get the sharp background as well?
