I've been creeping here and other channels for a long time (years) which has been invaluable but i recommend everyone go to a beginner class (at least) to have a skilled shooter evaluate you. It made a big difference for me and gave me a lot to work on.

Agreed. Classes will help get the individual attention and have a pro see and correct your deficiency’s. Even a entry level competition can help show you what you need work on when under pressure.

I really like Tactical Hyve content! As your team creates content can they possible amend the titles to give the consumer an idea of how many videos are in that particular series, ie. "How to Shoot Faster (Part X/Y): Target Focused Shooting".

I've been doing this for a while. Once you get the reference point on the gun to the target engrained in your brain, it's fast and accurate at

Or, you can do this just as fast referencing the sights and get actual good hits. The low Deltas are just lucky to not be misses.
@ketofittraining Жыл бұрын
Always try to use your sights. But the chances of seeing your sights will be slim when dealing with a close, sudden threat. Your eyes will lock on something bigger like the top of your slide. Edit: I said lock but that's the wrong word. You will focus on the threat and will SEE the bigger parts of your gun stand out over the target as your visual reference.

@@ketofittraining let's assume for a moment that I am quite good at shooting a handgun. The technique discussed can be done while referencing your sights, still being target focused, and get better hits in the same time.

@@thaugli3 It sounds like you have yet to be on a 2 way range. There are significant changes when engaging real threats instead of targets. If you are referring to target practice, sure, I would agree. Defensively, it is a different story. In court, everyone will say they see their sights because they don't want to get in trouble with the law. But the truth is the vast majority do not.
