Speaking of retouching, how would you start off as a professional retoucher who wants to get hired by car photographers? If you just post before/after shots on instagram, I think the noise is so high it'll take you forever to get noticed.

Hey Michael, since social media gravitates towards vertical crop, do you shoot content vertically or horizontally (at a distance) to account for the vertical crop later on? Really inspirational work and thank you for sharing your thoughts/teachings to everyone else!

Kingsley Chau great question. If we know upfront that there’s social media use, we would either (1) pull back on camera to leave vertical and horizontal cropping options or (2) shoot vertical and horizontal separately.

I wanted to know if you charge licensing/usage fees for people who use your images lets say for real estate? Like they make the nice graphics and details on selling/buying a home, but they use photos from your shoot, do you charge licensing? I have so many questions on contracts/licensing, etc and I don't know who to talk to. I'd love some moreguidance!
