That intro was so goddamn good. Especially the distorted streaks of light were amazing. This is my first comment on your channel BUT you need to know that I'm impressed of your work and development since I saw your very first video I came across (Sounds Of The PNW). I'm a recent subscriber and already watched most your videos from the past three years. I was shocked xD Keep up the great work. I'm working on getting near your level sometime. You're my idol. Nice little video, I really enjoyed it. LRTimelapse is really worth it as you can adjust look overtime and it also removes the flicker you can get when the camera is changing exposure for each shot in aperture priority or shutter priority. Another good trick is not shoot any faster than 1/40 of a second this smooths the time-lapse out making the clouds look better and helps the foliage not look so jittery when its windy. Does require the use of an ND filter. Keep up the good work!

Great tutorial on timelapse basics, thanks for the video! Timelapse is not an easy thing and requires efforts to master, so it is better to start with simpler conditions with stable lighting. Day-to-night timelapses when exposure of a scene changes drastically are hard, and tools like LRTimelapse become essential in workflow. One more thing about preparing to shoot is cleaning your sensor. I spotted several dusts particles on your timelapse video - they are easy to fix on a single photo but extremely hard to get rid of when one has several hundreds or thousands of frames. Anyway, great video to start shooting timelapses!
