Prices look expensive for the cut. Guess it’s the labor in its cutting; like the extra time to slice crazy thin.

No I think it’s the type of meat cause u can cut it thin like that usually a deli slicer

The pork belly looked reasonable. I compared it to a pound of thick sliced bacon which is about 12 or 13 American dollars.

Those prices are amazing for the yield you get. If you're not a glutton about meat, you can get 3-4 stir fries per package just by portioning it out and then slicing those portions into thin strips. I get four massive servings with $2 worth of meat this way.

How many thin pieces of meat like that make a serving? Do you freeze in portion sizes?

So I don't know if you know this or not but really all you have to do in a grocery store it's just pick out what you want and then give it to the butcher back there and he'll cut it any way you want it and tell him what you want he'll do it I've had him do it many times for me at my store so that's not true you need to know what you're doing and us all you need to do or and if you don't know what you want you go in there and tell him what you want and how much you want and they'll fix it for you and package it up for you

Genuine question: is pork belly not the same thing as bacon? Every time is see it and seen it cooked it looks just like a package of bacon?

Bacon is cured pork belly. Pork belly is pre-bacon if you will.

Isn't pork butt cheek slices are sometimes called ham?
@naonao9528
@naonao9528 7 ай бұрын
I dunno if this is different in some grocery stores or if this is regional, but generally in the US butchers use the term pork butt for the rear legs. Ham is a cured meat usually made from the butt, while a standard pork butt is not. There are some other terms used like shank. Or you could see a Boston butt which refers to the front legs.

@@miragesh2331 what she means is that your stupid "halal" food rules are not real And why would they care about "halal food" when there s no muslims in Korea?! And there s barely any in the US?! Why do you people always fucking expect other cultures and religions to cater to your every whim when muslims countries are the most intolerant on earth when it comes to everything non muslim?! if you just learn your way around a knife and invest in some washable kitchen gloves you could save yourself some serious money. there’s nothing special about these cuts.

Your videos are perfect and very helpful, but playing songs with a vocalist (respectfully) doesn’t make much sense to me. 😮 While it’s a trendy thing to do and I realise a lot of filmmakers do this; dialogue during filming and vocalist in the background. I am not a fan of this choice. It might work if the vocals are very very low, and then when it comes time to end the video you may wish to punch it with a louder vocal portion - crescendo? I’m thinking that good film work is done with instrumental background music. There’s got to be some Korean instrumental music out there that would befitting. It’s just too difficult to focus on what your saying because the person singing is too loud. (You may be wondering if I have trouble focusing in general: I run a company with 35 employees and there are times when I’m on a job site with at least half of them all working, yet, I managed to direct them all for 10 hours straight during a construction project. This requires tremendous multitasking). Good luck with your wonderful videos, and I hope you make many more with a small thought given to my suggestion.
