Welcome to Thingamavlogs! It's DisneyBound week, and if you don't know what that is - it's dressing like a Disney character using everyday clothing!

I always rely on what's in my closet already for Disneybound's, if I don't have something specific I need, I work my way up starting with thrift stores and eventually to the mall. It works well and I usually end up spending no more than $10 per Disneybound.

Jessyka Rivera which I personally think is the "better" way to bound, just cause a lot of things can be done out of one's closet. I feel bad that people on Tumblr who think they need to buy something new and can't join in on the fun. I mean it's totally fine to purchase that special item to complete a bound, but just seems so IDK unnatural if you go seek certain items.

Jessyka Rivera That's awesome! Thrift stores are so great for Bounding. For this though, we luckily had a budget to buy clothes for this project, so we went to all the stores where we could buy basic, staple items in many colors etc.

+Jessyka Rivera My closet is basically just Black and a tiny bit of few other dark colors (dark red or grey). Not that great for putting together many to any disneybound outfits ahhh ;-;

+Adrianna L Girl same. There's so many characters that you could still do though! Villains for starters, I love disneybounding as villains! I also have a Haunted Mansion disneybound and you could do a Pirates inspired outfit, or maybe even Space Mountain. Any dark ride with little elements here and there that tie it specifically to that ride. And of course you have Mickey and Minnie which you can do with mostly black, Vidia wears a lot of dark purple. And there's plenty of far fetched, obscure Disneybounds you could do too!

If you are ballin' on a budget like me, thrift stores... That's the best place to find clothes for Disney Bounds!

It is not a scripted show. While we pulled items (bc how else would there be options for the contestants if we didn't have options available?) the contestants didn't know who they would get before filming the show and didn't know what clothing we had available.

Okay, I'm like really excited for Friday's video (: I love DIsneybounding! I would have to say the hardest part of pulling together a Disneybound are matching the colors, exactly. I never realized just how many different shades of one color there is, until I need one specific shade.

I love looking for DisneyBounds in thrift stores but every once in a while, I'll find something that's totally perfect for a certain character at Target or other stores. I just recently got a friend of mine hooked on DisneyBounding and we are planning a big shopping day just for DisneyBounds! :)

I’m actually a costume design major so I often make or upcycle things when I disney bound. The problem I see with these outfits is that they would be hard to wear them at a theme park. Which I feel is the most important thing about making a good disney bound. Comfort is the most important thing when you’re walking around disney. So long sleeves might be a bad idea depending on what park you’re going to.

when i heard that it was Disnyboud week on Patrick's video, i thought Sarah, the Queen of Disneybounding would put out a mediocre video..(Cause what else could she teach us? Right....). Alas, my doubts were put to rest because this is something i did not expect and ya... so... Sarah you have some inventive and unique ideas that on this channel or your own never cease to entertain and you bring joy to this kids life... so thank you... Now i cant wait for friday! and it is so hard to disneybound i feel u sarah me and my friends were going to disney bound everyday while on our school trip to washington dc and that didn't end up happening because i couldn't find like any clothes in the right colors so my friends were like this is the right color and im like no i just cant do this everyday its too much and i had like no $ at that point cause we had like only 3 days to find the right clothes so we didn't end up dong it except on may the 4th as star wars characters

Is there a Value Village or other thrift store near where you two live? I know it's kinda too late now, but if you ever need to do another large amount of disneybounds, it could be helpful to you! And you'd be giving new life to old clothing (instead of contributing to the demand of fast fashion), without breaking the bank : D

Thingamavlogs​ this week is going to be so amazing I absolutely love Disney bounding I kind of wish I had more money ...I usually just DB asPeter Pan or Aladdin because those are two that I have and then I just have a bunch of Disney shirts with Mickey on them. if you were looking for like an Ariel look I actually kind of tried to pull it off once I have a pair of green pants that I got at Old Navy and a purple shirt that found in my closet... if you really wanted to you could go to Michaels or any store that sells t-shirts and look for a purple one there like Walmart or Target .purple is a very common color you just have to know where to look for purple stuff and I will agree with you one of the hardest things to find are accessories like I know my best friend has been wanting to do Olaf but we can't find a carrot necklace 😡...
