How to Shorten a Zipper (neat and quick way)

Today I have a new tutorial prepared on how to shorten a plastic zipper. This technique is very simple and easy to do, but gives beautiful and - most importantly - secure finish to a shortened zipper. This technique is suited for plastic zippers, so do not use it on metal ones - there's a different technique for it!

Can this be done with invisible zippers? I tried sewing across the end of an invisible zipper and broke a needle. So I have not tried sewing across the plastic teeth again for fear of breaking another zipper. I appreciate any advice you have. Your videos are so easy to follow and understand. Great job!
