Pay great attention at 2.32! After pulling the sleeve through the hole in the lining you have created, you must then turn the lining inside out. This enables you to stitch the lining and the sleeve at the cuff right sides together as per 2.45. (If you don't do this, it's literally impossible to sew the lining to the sleeve.). It took me ages to figure this out by slowing down the video and viewing it multiple times to see what she did. The tutorial is great, a brilliant technique, but as so often at the crucial moment in these situations, the video goes too quickly to see what you have to do. Hope that helps!

Thanks for the video - Just wondering why you take 5cm off the main fabric to shorten, but only 1cm off the lining?? Can anyone help?

Это неправильно! Вы испортили пальто! Надо обязательно проклеить дублерином подгиб рукава и 3-4 см выше! Так, как на отрезанном куске (1.13)! Иначе сгиб будет рыхлым, некрасивым и потеряет форму. А потом вообще быстро протрётся до дырок. Прежде, чем чему-то учить, неплохо бы самой это уметь.

@@ЛАНА-р4э Здравствуйте) не вижу своего коммента, пишу еще раз. - отмерить нужную длину так, как в видео - ширину подгиба ( в видео ширина линейки) сделать как в оригинале - проклеить подгиб и 3-4 см выше сгиба тонким дублерином от шва до шва, не заходя на припуски. - новый край рукава обработать как в оригинале( обметать или подогнуть или обшить косой бейкой) - подогнуть и пришить потайным швом. Отутюжить новый сгиб с изнанки через марлю.
