How to show Chikankari Embroidery | Swatches Development | Fashion Illustration

Chikankari Embroidery is a popular embroidery pattern popularly practised in Lucknow, India. It's also known as Shadow embroidery which uses white thread over fabrics to create the intricate detailing.

Won't be next video! I can tell you that to work on black sheet you can use white materials like gel pens or fluorescent gel pens, white charcoals and acrylics.

Use black pencil with light strokes. Or use water color wash mixing white and black to form light grey shade.

Yes! Chikankari is a style of embroidery which is done on fabrics and then that fabric is used to stitch various types of garments and it's also done on duppata as well.
