I'm experiencing an issue with the YITH WooCommerce Ajax Product Filter on my site. On category pages filters are active by default. However, when I attempt to clear a filter, it doesn't deactivate. Ideally, I'd like the site to redirect to the main shop page when a filter is removed (and no others are active), displaying all products unfiltered. Is there a setting that enables this behavior, or a workaround you can suggest? Your guidance would be greatly appreciated!

Hi there! 😃 In this case, it's best to contact the developers and inform them about the issue you're experiencing so they can properly assist you. If you're using the free version of YITH WooCommerce Ajax Product Filter, you can post a thread on the dedicated support forum: wordpress.org/support/plugin/yith-woocommerce-ajax-navigation/; if you're using the premium version with an active license, you can submit a ticket through the support dashboard in your account: yithemes.com/my-account/support/dashboard/. i have 50 categories, using divi theme. so i have to create 50 new category pages? is there any better way, so it will apply for comon category page?
@YITHOfficial Жыл бұрын
Hi there! 😃 If you want to have different category pages, then yes, we suggest you follow the steps shown in this video tutorial. An alternative solution would be to add the filters preset to your Shop page and configure the filters to allow multiple selections with the "AND" relation and use adoptive filtering in the premium version of the plugin to hide the terms that do not match the selection, this way, as soon as a category is selected, users will see that category's products and can start filtering within that category. You can see more about this option here: kzbin.info/www/bejne/rpzUoIJonsqobKM. If you have further questions, please write to us through the following link so we can properly assist you: yithemes.com/contact-form/. Stay tuned! 😉

Hi there! 😃 In case adding the preset to the sidebar is not useful for you because you need to add different presets to different pages that share the same sidebar, you can use the shortcode that's generated for each preset created or the YITH AJAX Filters Preset widget to insert specific presets into your pages, you can see them here: docs.yithemes.com/yith-woocommerce-ajax-product-filter/premium-settings/widget-and-shortcode/. Hi there 😃 Our YITH WooCommerce Ajax Product Filter plugin only works on products, not on blog posts. You can check out our YITH WooCommerce Ajax Search plugin instead, the premium version allows you to extend the search to posts and pages as well, not just to products, although the categories can only be selected for products: yithemes.com/themes/plugins/yith-woocommerce-ajax-search/. You can test the plugin here: plugins.yithemes.com/yith-woocommerce-ajax-search/, and write to us through our contact form in case you have further questions: yithemes.com/contact-form/. The filters that appear in the main category of the products are also appearing in the Sale category, which makes it difficult to navigate and understand. I would greatly appreciate it if you could provide guidance on how to resolve this issue as a priority. Thank you for your assistance.

Hi there! 😃 In case you need to activate multiple selection with a relation that hides the terms that do not match the chosen category, "Sale" in this case, you can enable it for each filter you create and select the "AND" relation, you can see these options here: docs.yithemes.com/yith-woocommerce-ajax-product-filter/free-settings/checkbox-and-text/ and check out our video tutorial about these options here: kzbin.info/www/bejne/rpzUoIJonsqobKM (keep in mind we use the premium version in the video tutorial, not the free one). In case this is not the solution you were looking for, we invite you to contact our developers through the support forum given that you're using the free version of our YITH WooCommerce Ajax Product Filter plugin, you can post a thread explaining the issue: wordpress.org/support/plugin/yith-woocommerce-ajax-navigation/, our developers check the forum regularly, they'll answer there and assist you. Hi there! 😃 In case you're referring to the sidebar options in the WooCommerce > Categories section (at 03:27 in this video), those options are added by some themes, for example, our Proteo theme that you can find here and download for free: bit.ly/3CAGd2l. If you don't have those options on your dashboard, you can create custom pages for your categories and manage the sidebar there, you can see how to do that from 05:45 on. Hello. How I can add on the new pages " Man new category" Default sorting? Bless You
@YITHOfficial2 жыл бұрын
Hi, Marek! 😃 If you're referring to the "order by" filter that offers "default sorting" you can create it as explained on this documentation page: docs.yithemes.com/yith-woocommerce-ajax-product-filter/premium-settings/order-by/ If you're referring to the products sorting on the "Man new category" page that was created at 06:33, you can set it by selecting the Products by Category block, and then going over to the Block menu to the right and scrolling down to Order by. If you're referring to the order of the terms inside each filter, it should be arranged through the Order by option inside each filter. Keep in mind the plugin options mentioned are only available in the premium version. If this is not what you were referring to or you have further questions, feel free to contact us: yithemes.com/contact-form/. Stay tuned! 😉

How do you hide/remove Men from the filter if you have selected Women from the menu? I would not want to show anything related to Men in the filter because for Men there is a different menu. I searched a lot about this but couldn't get any answer.
@YITHOfficial Жыл бұрын
Hi there! 😃To show different filters and/or terms on your pages, you can create different presets. You can add each preset to the correct page as a shortcode or a widget as you can see here: docs.yithemes.com/yith-woocommerce-ajax-product-filter/premium-settings/widget-and-shortcode/. Another option is to allow multiple selection inside the filters, select the "AND" relation, and choose to hide terms with no results; this way, as soon as you select the first term, the ones that do not match products on that page, will become hidden. You can find the options here: docs.yithemes.com/yith-woocommerce-ajax-product-filter/premium-settings/taxonomy-filter/. In case you have further questions, feel free to contact us here: yithemes.com/contact-form/. Stay tuned! 😉

Yea this is confusing !! Is it possible to add filter to catagory but only filter that catgaory ? Like if i put a filter in the womens page, will the filter only filter the womens products ?
@YITHOfficial Жыл бұрын
Hi there! 😃 Yes, the filters you add to a category page should only filter the products that belong to that category so, in the Women category page, only products that belong to that category should be filtered if that's what you have added to the page. Feel free to test this by selecting any of the live demos here: bit.ly/3hPa6CV (you can click on the "Launch admin demo" button above the selected demo to access the dashboard and create your own category page). Hi, @@Lmcrf! 😃 Using our YITH WooCommerce Ajax Product Filter plugin, when creating a category page, "Women" for example, and adding a filter preset with terms that are shared between "Women" and "Men" categories, the user would only see the results that belong to the "Women" category since those are the products shown on that category page.
