When adjusting your focus ring, you can take your eyeglasses off and set it to your prescription. That’s some thing you don’t have to do but can-do. Some thing else you may wish to consider that I have had great luck with after setting your focus ring, take a medium sized rubber band and put it in the gap created by the focus ring. This will hold your cap on tighter, and will prevent accidental bumping of your focus.

so you set scope for 20 yards, then you changed to 40 yards and then you changed the bow speed for 40 yards , my question is will it affect any other distance ?

After you leave 20 and go to 40 you don't touch anything but your speed .if its off sideways that means your crosshairs are not straight. You need to turn scope a little.Then start over.
