Very overlooked. Thanks for reminding. I “feel” I’m hitting it low in the face but time to get the Daktarin spray out

Bingo!!!! Let’s go!

Thanks for this video! I have regressed in my driver impact, I was so consistent in hitting the middle of the face but now it's extreme toe hits. Could you do a video where you do the driver set up post impact and start the swing from there drill? You did this a few months back and was just an eye opening exercise.

I will absolutely add this to my list of content for sure! Thanks for the feedback and request! 👊👊👊

Nice vid. I do it every 4/5 time at range I think it can tell you a ton about what’s happening in the swing to trouble shoot If I ever see heel strike especially low heel I know it’s time to trouble shoot

It is one of the greatest pieces of feedback we can learn from for troubleshooting!

ThI hardest part why driver is hard for amateurs is path! Swing out towards to the right fairway is so hard in our head. Our brain tries to correct it at the last second. This is also the reason 80% hit slices.
@TheWedgeWizard5 ай бұрын
Probably more like 98% if slicers. It’s usually only people who are just starting who have a club face issue, it’s almost always the path causing peoples slices.

This is where the setup position and how the center of chest and pelvis (spine) is aligned in relation to the target. Trying feeling the center of chest and hips point behind the ball position and they stay there in the downswing as long as possible

A lot of times it is a club face issue!
@Eqnotalent5 ай бұрын
@@tsgolf if it’s a club face issue. Won’t a grip change or closed face fix all the slice of 95% golfers slice? When ever I see they do grip change or just close their face. The ball start left, fade/slice to the right. Still never a draw
@tsgolf5 ай бұрын
@@Eqnotalentthere surely can still be a face to path issue which can cause the ball fade or slice (when the face still remains open to the club path). There certainly are times when direction and the face need to be looked at and changed.

So once we find the pattern. For example yours was slightly low heel. How would you adjust from there. Is it standing slightly farther away to bring the ball a tad towards the toe? And raise the tee height a bit also?
@tsgolf5 ай бұрын
Could absolutely be setup! Tee height can change things as well! As crazy as it sounds, I think it is really important just to practice trying to hit the center of the face! Hope this helps and let me know if you need anything!

Damn I loved watching you swing Driver TS. Thing of beauty. We dont have Dr Scholls here. Im assuming a deoderant or air freshener is fine and wont cause any damage to my Driver?
@tsgolf5 ай бұрын
Thank you! You can use a foot powder spray and just wipe it off after you finish! It has never damaged a driver that I’ve used it on. That being said, I haven’t personally tried it on a the new Taylormade Drivers that have a carbon face

I can tell I am not hitting the middle when I drive the ball a yard into the ground in front of me or if I do make contact, a nice snap hook? It has gotten so bad, I am using a 5 iron of the Tee.
@hypent5005 ай бұрын
using foot spray my strike location is mostly low on the driver head face. do you know how to bring my strike location above center. my ball position is mostly lined to my left lead side heel. my tee height is also at 3 inches high
@tsgolf5 ай бұрын
I would truthfully guess that you are hitting to far up on it causing the bottom of the face miss. Try teeing it down lower to hit it higher on the face (1-1/2” in height)

I also have a problem of hitting low on face with a high tee height. Will tee it down lower to start. If my driver is a 10.5 that I have lofted up to 12 (now with a closed face). So I open the face slightly at address. Do the same rules still apply. Where the middle is truly now 12? Would I benefit from same head at 12 deg to start?
@tsgolf5 ай бұрын
That is correct. The same rules would apply even after the driver is adjusted in loft! Let me know how the tee height works for you contact wise! 👊👊👊
@bgzales7095 ай бұрын
Lowered tee height! What do you know. The center of the face more often!! You are such amazing instructor! More driver vids please! 😊
