Thank you I really enjoyed your video & your voice is very pleasant to listen to. I've only just today found your channel & I'm so pleased I have. I have not, as yet, looked at anything else you do, however when I've finished this message I shall go take a peek. I'm a nail tech myself & teacher & have been for approx. 40+ years so in a way I'm still in yesterdays nail designs, so I'm hoping very much that you do a lot of gel designs, as due to having had 2x cancers & have been poorly for the past 10yrs & I cannot use a/c anymore, so I've got everything X'd that you do a lot of gel designs, because although I'm 74yrs old I still own & run my salon & I go in every day I know my clients would love some new designs. Sorry this is so long but I've got a bit excited. Warm regards Xv ( ps I'm in remission just now - yeah!!! )

Hi this vid is such a bliss it’s so pretty and looks so easy. Btw I have a serious question: why did u wipe off the gel residue off the top coat before ombreing? Can I do it with the residue on? And you could’ve put the top coat on at the end why did u put it in the middle? Also u were flipping ur brush while doing the ombré 🤔🤔🤔 sorry so many questions it’s just that this is my first time seeing ombré done so easily and quickly 😭😭😭👏👏👏👏
@ardellesnails4 жыл бұрын
Thanks! I wipe the residue because the polish ombre’s nicer if it is. It’s hard to explain but the matte top coat put on in the middle allows the polish to adhere nicer. Sometimes I flip the brush so the brush is cleaner, makes it easier to keep ombreing

Hi I finally am going to invest in gel lamp and everything that you need to go with. I wondered if you could tell me with those sponge stamping brush heads that you have if you can clean them and how many uses you get out of each sponge. I know AliExpress and eBay are wonderful Price Cutters and if so and I'm sorry if you put all this information the down bar or in the rest of the video I didn't catch that, but yes I was wondering how many uses you got out of each spongehead and how you clean them? I know that those makeup wedges are wonderful for doing ombre effects and so are the cheap eyeshadow applicators that come with... So that's why I rather anxious since investing in your gel lamp and of course the lint free cotton wipes Etc a lot of money. But that's not what really makes me ask questions. Because I know the best nail art people have found lots of interesting DIY hacks that work better than... And I'd rather spend the money on a nombre brush LOL. I also wanted to ask if it would be smart to buy white so that I could take that purple and make degrees of purples and lavenders to do a perfect ombre effect would you recommend that? Like I said I would much rather buy the primary colors plus black and white and then be able to mix together any color I wanted and of course perfect hombre effect easy blacks and whites to mix with those colors. Would you recommend buying a dark purple and using a white 2 make that initial lavender color and if you did what company would you recommend that isn't ridiculously expensive or alternative on eBay or AliExpress? Thank you for doing this video I really appreciate it and of course I'm very interested in these sponge applicators for everything not just nails, that's why I asked. And I wouldn't ask if I didn't think a lot of your video.
@ardellesnails6 жыл бұрын
No problem, I don’t mind you asking. The sponge brushes you can get many uses out of. You just take some Isopropyl alcohol on a wipe and dab the sponge until the Color is removed. Canni gel paints are very good and inexpensive. I recommend buying those. Yes you can definitely buy white and black to change the shades of your colors.

Thanks for sharing! Do you always use gel paints? How long do you get with thise?
@ardellesnails7 жыл бұрын
+Shari Campbell thanks for watching! I also use gel polish and gel colors. I find they stay good until they no longer look good, or apply well. I can't give you exacts off hand.

nice video, is your brush from the Aliexpress store? Also, where did you purchase the stand things for the nail demos?
@mirikira86326 жыл бұрын
Akihi on Aliexpress has better brushes, I love them and have almost every single brush from them. I also have sponges, yours seem to be a bit firmer than mine, a big stiffer, I like that. Will order some from BP.
