Wow Becky I really enjoyed this video! I love the way you take in your surroundings but then build your own composition, I'm struggling to get my head around this concept! Instead I seem to draw everything as it is, which is nowhere near as dynamic. I also always find it interesting when you show a still photo or video of the scene because it really highlights your interpretation of what you're seeing. It's one of my favorite parts of your videos actually. It reveals the artists eye if that makes sense. Thanks so much for sharing. Amy 😊

Dear Becky, I very love your creativity. Can you tell me what ink you use? Waterproof? And what company?

I'm using the Noodler's Brown #41 ink. The ink is not 100% waterproof when painting watercolors right after drawing, better wait for 15 minutes or even longer, depending on the paper you are using. Always test it before doing your good paintings.

Thank you! Most of the time, I don't ask for permission. It is legal here in Canada to draw and paint portraits of people without asking. Most people never notice that they are being sketched. But if they do, I kindly show them my sketch of him/her/them and appreciate them for being my models.
