How To Simplify the Landscape Using a Photo Reference: Acrylic Painting Demo

Today I am painting a simplified landscape study using acrylic paint on Strathmore Mixed Media Paper. I started with a base colour and then blocked in the composition. My goal is to stay loose and not put in many details. I also want to take some artistic license and not be married to the photo.
