You're such a thoughtful host. I really enjoyed this video. I swear, sometimes you're lucky if you even get a NAPKIN to use with your meal anymore. :o) Thanks, Annette

Speaking of "social grace," I probably shouldn't respond with, "Well, no #(*IT," but that's what I'm thinking! :o) Annette

This is such great advice! One thing that I like to do for my guests is to leave a couple of extra blankets folded over the chair in my guest room. That way, they don't have to go hunting for extra bedding if they get chilly during the night!

I totally understand what you mean but I don't think any of this was too much. As a host this would cut down a lot of the stress one may feel hosting guests and as a guest I would love to wake up to a nice bowl of oatmeal and coffee. I think it all depends on who your overnight guests are. I'm hosting a party next week and I'm so making oatmeal in the crockpot.

This is all amazing and it actually made me subscribe, I just have one question that I need to ask because I find myself asking that question when I turn over-fabulous like that... Why? Why is all that necessary? I mean it is sublime to be taken care of or to be a person that takes care of others, but when is it too much?

Setting up a buffet ? fresh baked pastries? 2 kinds of toothbrush? ... don't get me wrong, its fabulous, I have done much more than that myself, but still personally takes me to a place where I ask, why? after all I only allow guests that are already my friends, so ...
