They key for me to getting that correctly is to focus more on my breathing as well as the annunciations of the words. Try to start your phrase singing “now” as if you were saying “wow” instead. notice how the word wow feels more “mouthy” and loose. As opposed to most people when they naturally say “now” have a transfer of the sound from the roof of their mouth to their nostrils. You can experiment with it pretty easy by changing the position of your tongue in your mouth. Try to focus on the difference of the sounds when your tongue touches the roof on the front of your mouth and when you pull your tongue back to touch the roof your mouth further back. Best of luck!

Thanks for the vid. I want to give you a honest feedback: I feel like you mostly talked about how to get a darker sound, with no analysis whatsoever of the techniques dynamics etc he’s using throughout the song (which would have helped people who wants to do a cover to get through the song with a bit more of awareness on techniques). Only in the end you briefly covered that but I have to disagree on your suggestion that he should sing that bridge note in mixed voice. Firstly it’s hard to find male singers that can belt that full chest voice so good for him (show it off!) and it gives so much more intensity and emotions than a mixed voice. So I think it’s better that he sang it like that and that he lowers the key live, still wonderful.

Hi! While lowering a tone makes the higher notes easier, the lower notes at the beginning of the song become very hard. I can only mumble these first notes. It requires a great vocal range to sing it and not forcing the lower or higher registers. For Lewis it is very natural.
