SophisticatedBanjo That's a great comment. I remember being 7 years old and realizing the Beatles were actually British when they spoke and not ever hearing it in their music from when I was 5 years old until then. It's lovely what music can hide.
@thatfeeble-mindedboy7 жыл бұрын
It would help a lot if you wouldn't try to sing a hard 'r' with a short e vowel on paper and writer. First, you cant sing an 'r', although many pop singers try, but more importantly, it is distinctly UN- British. A Brit will say AND sing 'pay-puh back royie-tah'. That's exaggerated, of course, but it shows the direction that an English accent would take on those words. I have to disagree with this commentor; while EVERYTHING else about your replication of these Beatles songs is astonishing, bordering on super-human; to my ear, your Italian accent is all over it.
@TheBeatlesVocalHarmony7 жыл бұрын
You're right, I recently learnt this from my girlfriend who perfetcly speaks Brit English. I wish I had known this before, BTW this is not italian accent, it's me singing with the "R" like an american.

Thank you so much for doing these videos! You are such a talented musician and have a very beautiful voice, and are helping all those like me in the world who have spent hours trying to deduce the Beatles' separate vocal parts in their songs, but just couldn't do it in some cases. So I want to tell you how helpful your videos are to so many of us, and thank you again for them!!

I think Paul would be genuinely baffled yet impressed by what is technically “his own” work, looking back at it dissected so well. Unfortunately George Martin is dead. The true key. It probably went like this…. “Sing this next, trust me it’ll work”

Bravo. That was fascinating to watch. I love their strange harmonies on this one, also Rain, and When I Get Home. Some of it sounds almost Eastern, outside of our 12-tone scale, but however you've dissected it must be correct; you sound exactly like them. I had no idea they were singing frere jacques. Cheers.

Galleazzo, my own theory is; that you are master of two, very different skills at once. The first, I will guess is humility. It seems to precede true greatness every time. Your respect for the Artform and new media is also clear. NObody does this anywhere NEAR so well as YOU do, Maestro. ~O~k, maybe George Martin could do this....with Lennon and McCartney, George and Ringo...yeah, I guess...

As far as I can tell, most of the instrumental backing is done by him, but when it's the full band like this, it sounds very much like the instrumentation from the original. Certain Beatles tracks are available in multi-track format, which means you can isolate different instruments etc, so that appears to be what he does when that's an option.

There's a few of the basic compression and reverbs of Garage Band (standar "Vocal presence" preset and a 30% of the standard reverb). Can I say that It's how you sing that makes the difference nothing to do with the effects? For example I was in the mid of Italy last week coaching a local band and did some recordings for them and believe me if I say that I sound the same in every kind of device.
