Drop the key when you sing. I know someone with deep voice and he sings this in his range.

Also break down the notes you have trouble with. Do a separate KZbin search of warm ups, scales ex do re mi, how to belt, etc. N just keep practicing

You need to learn about vowel modifications and mouth shapes. Karyn O'Connor talks a lot about that. Dr. Marc Reynolds talks about that in all his reaction videos, he mentions the oropharynx and "the shape at the back". That's the thing that really affects your tone on certain notes and your ability to slide into them and hold them. Don't forget also on high notes you need to thin out the voice, but maintain a resonance . It's not about being as loud as possible. The first place I learned vowel mods from was Sooah Park , who has a channel on you. Good luck!

It´s possible to expand your range. I come down to a E2...So yes, I have a really dark voice. But I worked myself up to E6. Haven´t worked on it in one year. So I can´t do it anymore:(((( But I´m on it again:D

It is interesting what you are saying about looking after yourself as a singer. Dancers push themselves to the point of breaking also. Edward Villella who was phenomenal as a dancer in New York City Ballet had to have two hip replacements and he had a body full of pain by the time he was artistic director at Miami City Ballet. Of course artists want to be fantastic but it is possible to do it without killing yourself.

I honestly don’t believe in the whole alto and soprano thing defining your voice. Sure it might be easier to sing a low or high, but that doesn’t mean that an “alto” can’t sing high or a “soprano” can’t sing low. Don’t put yourself under certain labels, it just takes practice.
