Hi Ben, i love your channel. I used to drive a van delivering goods from UK to Europe back in the 2000's. It was a load more easier back then, but still the same issues with crossing the channel. I really dont miss the long hours, and the paperwork, but i really miss the views across Europe when driving. I stopped as the long hours nearly killed me, but thats another story. Anyway, keep up the great work, and ive subbed to you.

Many thanks Ralph & I understand about the looooong hours 🤦🏻♂️. Cheers buddy.

@@The_Breeze1 I am the ex driver who now lives near Pescara Sud, I am offering a B&B service for drivers not sure if I have mentioned this before? It would be good to get your feedback please?

@@The_Breeze1 I just realised you have named yourself after the JJ Cale song. Nice to know a fellow JJ Cale fan! Don't forget the coffee!

Another great blog What would happen if you ignored the order to go to sivep and just left calais and carried on with your delivery?

Editing right now so hopefully soon. I think it’ll be a 2 parter as it’s quite long though I may take a chunk out of the middle & make that a separate vid on Rungis market. Cheers G 👍🏽

interesting, how do you get notification, what if you can't tell orange from green, what if you don't pull in???
@The_Breeze1 Жыл бұрын
Hi Mark & welcome. Notification “should be” on screens in the train or a tablet by the exit door or an app on your phone but they don’t always work 🤦🏻♂️. Not sure about the colours thing & if you don’t stop you face big fines. Interesting questions mate & thank you for watching.

Seems you came off the train. Is it different than at the ferries? Congratulations on your patience. I've talked to drivers who cross from US to Canada at Detroit and their waits are similar.
@The_Breeze1 Жыл бұрын
Hi again Opa, yes the ferry docks a little further up the coast & though they have their own customs centre I don’t think they have the veterinary check facility we need with fresh meat. Cheers bud 👍🏽
@BIGV710 Жыл бұрын
good info about customs is it the same for bonded loads as i do not use calais or dover i go by brittany ferries all the time
@The_Breeze1 Жыл бұрын
Hi Vernon, I’m not sure tbh mate but you generally only go in to customs if your status turns orange when crossing otherwise (if it’s green) just get going 😀. Thanks for watching pal 👍🏽

I usually use other work until after I’ve had my seal checked then upon return to parking I go on break & have a drink or something to eat 👍🏽
