This is a wonderful video. A good thing to add is to keep your toe pointed out during return. You want your foot at the same angle as if you were kicking a soccer ball during the full stride. Another way to think of it is to be duck footed during the full extension and return of the stride.

Great video. What also helped me also was to remember to point my front foot forward, as I was pushing off with my back foot. Previous to that, I was always pointing my front foot to the side, and kind of weaving back and forth (or losing all of the push-off energy that was being delivered by my back foot). So, remember to point your front foot straight at the direction that you want to go.

Hockey Tutorial. I wanna thank you for all the videos you make. They're informative, to the point, and leave me with easy thoughts and it's not difficult to recall back to key points that will help me become a better player. Not only do you make skill videos but you also make guides for sticks and equipment and buying hockey stuff. I was a bit skeptical at first I admit. But your videos have opened my eyes sort of and made me happy that hockey is appreciated at such a worldwide level where the British are making TOP TIER videos about hockey. Not to mention I'm mixed and aboriginal so seeing someone black so knowledgeable about a sport that everyone says there are never minorities in is awesome. #HockeyIsForEveryone EDIT: your videos really help also as I'm 16 and at a pivotal time in my hockey career. I started playing only a year ago so I'm trying to soak up as much information as possible.

+Dane Wallace Hi Dane - Thanks for ordering one! we unfortunately have no control over the production time. Our jerseys are custom made to order with your name, flag and number. During the season it can take more than 6-8 weeks for jerseys to be produced. It will come! We know a batch of them are currently being produce and will ship this month. It can be a pain but they will arrive safely.

He said listen for the "crunch" when you stride. That's wrong. I learned skating from a pro player and he said that you want as little scraping on the ice as possible. All that does is lose speed and create more friction
@suop

+Bin Mucker47 the "crunch in the ice isnt loosing speed, its your skates digging into the ice. for example, if your turning and you here "scraping" you are loosing speed because your half stopping and half turning, but if you here crunch, you are really digging your blades in.
