The new behemoth Malkarion is awesome and it's also very challenging. The behemoth on it's own takes some practice but before you can even fight it you need to beat 4 rounds in escalation. This behemoth has a ton of moves and has the first iteration of air combat. This video should give yall an idea of what to expect and how to handle the mechanics.

Yeah the first time I fought him it was basically a cold slap in the face. It was so freaking fast and frustrating. Getting through escalation was already a pain in the ass, and fighting him was like someone sticking a thorn up my butt hole. But after this video it was much easier.

Professor Smoothiess knock back orbs, on 5th lightning bolt he places boop and when he Juan’s through portal boop as long as you roll between that stuff to dodge all his attacks you can easily beat em. One of the easiest fights now in my opinion just takes a while to get the hang of

A +3 nine lives saved me from getting one hitted by it's tail slam attack. I also had a +6 iceborne and 4000 health shield from my skarns axe and bulwark tonic active.

I don't know if anyone found this out, but Malkarion's mouth grab is quite easy to escape solo. Just run Koshi's lantern and use it's hold ability. I just recently found this out and it's kinda cool. I don't know if it's a bug or if it's intentional but it has really helped me out soloing Malkarion. This guide has helped me out a lot and I've learned a lot about this Behemoth.

@@schmeat7609 I wish that there was a way that you could just "lock on" to behemoths. If you reset your camera during a hunt, it automatically locks on to the behemoth. But you have to constantly keep pressing on the left stick button. It gets annoying and frustrating. I wished that they had a better "locking on" mechanism.

@@schmeat7609 well it's kinda like a lock on mechanism. You just have to reset when the behemoth isn't in sight. Instead of just staying on the behemoth, the camera will just switch back to the behemoth, but it won't stay. I wished that it actually stayed on it. Might give them some feedback about that.

Okay funny story, my friend and I were completing escalations and we joined a hunt. It took a solid 2 minutes to kill every other behemoth. But when we got to Malkarion we killed him in 30 seconds.

Same. I didn't like this game at first because I thought the fights were too easy but *boy was I wrong*. Scarn destroyed me and my team the first time we fought him which was when I started going into each hunt more prepared. I really like the game now. Not sure if i like it better than mhw but it's free, challenging, fast, not grindy, and visually appealing

@@jpowel It's the same man you need to read the behemoth's movement and practice. I personally find it easy to fight behemoths until mid game but after that man, I became full hunter mode on. Btw I don't play mhw in 2 weeks now even Safi jiiva has been released. I dunno maybe I lost my interest atm. Well dauntless behemoths are pretty unique when it comes to design. My favorite is the skarn. It just looks cute to me. And the concept is cool to. A giant turtle with earth powers.

I have defeated this thing three times and I get carried by other players every time. It is a true pain in the ass because most of its dash/slam attacks one-tap you if you have no shield.

You have to defeat him 15 times or less depending on hide and aim for the head first then the tail last because it's harder then you have the weapon takes for average player like 7 hours depending if you even get there and decent player 6 hours good players 4ish hours and god players 3 hours and *Dough player* 1 second
