I’m in Australia and currently it’s winter. I’ll go to bed in full pjs, jumper, socks, extra blankets then wake up a few hours later BOILING!!! end up in a tshirt & even with my window wide open & no heating and on the couch for the rest of the night. I know our body’s temperature increases during the cycle of sleep but this is insane!

Great video dudes! Does sheet thread count? Make a difference with sleeping cooler? I like a heavy sheet with a high thread count because it naturally feels cooler, but I’ve heard it could trap heat in. I’ve been told to go for lower threadcount such as 180… Also, can you recommend a material for cooler duvets? I assume natural fibres are best, but not sure where to start. I heard duck feathers (down) are pretty warm and also maybe encased in a synthetic material, & I’m not sure if there’s any kind of warm, thick cotton filling available… Cheers 👍

Great questions! Yes, a sheet with a higher thread count is, by definition, going to be denser. Therefore, it will trap more heat. A lower thread count -- like 200-300 -- will be a great choice to help you sleep cool. As for duvets, look for the "fill power" in duvets. Many brands will offer different "fill powers" to help you sleep warmer or cooler, depending on what you need.

Dude, I sleep in my drawls with barely a sheet on me and a fan going all night long and it’s cold in my house and I’m still hot
