Thanks so much for another helpful video! 🙏 Quick question, where do I look when I'm slow dancing with my partner?
@BallroomFeed2 жыл бұрын
You can look at your partner if you would like to! In ballroom dancing we typically look off to the left to help with the correct alignment so if that would make it more comfortable for you that is an option as well :)

What happens if there is a major height difference, does it force a more intimate posture?
@BallroomFeed3 жыл бұрын
The closeness in which you stand to your partner doesn't depend on how tall you are. Anyones arms/elbows can just raise or lower to find a happy medium between you too. Deciding spacing is really just how casual or intimate you want to be with who you're dancing with:)

I know my crush is going to want to dance with me at a wedding that's coming up in five months (do not ask how i know) but I'm really nervous cause I'm shy and I feel like I'm going to step on his feet I'm so scaredd😭
@BallroomFeed3 жыл бұрын
I'm sure your crush feels the same way! Just imagine how nervous they are and have some fun with it! It's not about impressing each other, if someone steps on the others feet you guys can laugh about it and it might even break the ice a little bit. Just be flexible and let them lead you instead of both trying to take control.
@yurisabatiniitaliantenor24792 жыл бұрын
Quick question, please: in your opinion and experience, does a difference in height (man much taller than the woman) have an impact on the ability to hold her and dance together smoothly?
@BallroomFeed2 жыл бұрын
Hi Yuri, it might change the hold slightly but you will still be able to hold her and dance well together so no worries :) Her left hand might have to be lower (if your shoulder is too high) and your left hand (her right hand) will lower more towards her since she's much shorter :)

Instead of the upper biceps, what is she places her hand on the right side of my chest? I only ask because she’s legally blind.
@BallroomFeed2 жыл бұрын
In theory the connection points are actually made for a physical feeling not a visual lead so anyone should be able to follow with their eyes closed in this dance position! If you want to put it on your chest because you prefer it then totally up to you :)
