This is really brilliant. Your video-ing is perfect and you show how to do every stitch so clearly. Thank you so much for this tutorial - I’m definitely going to try one. (The music wasn’t exactly conducive to slow stitching though - I had to mute it as it was making me feel irritable.) But thank you all the same.

Thank you! I am trying to show the stitches up close when I can. I’m using more soothing music these days but it’s too late for this video now. Thanks for watching and I hope you do make one! They are so much fun!

I really love the way this one turned out! The colors are so soothing. Out of curiosity, do you buy your batiks in squares or do you cut them yourself? I love the variety that you have within each colorway! Thank you for sharing this video with us!❤
@cookingjennfer Жыл бұрын
Thank you! Some of them I purchased at the local fabric store as quarters and others are squares I got from www.batiksontherun.com The sky in this one is from one of the squares. This online seller is local to me but they’re on Etsy so I imagine they can ship anywhere.

This is a great tutorial and perfect for showing how to make the various stitches. Are you using sewing thread or embroidery floss? Also, what type pen are you using for marking that disappears? Thanks for the great video!
@cookingjennfer Жыл бұрын
I use a combination of threads and flosses. I show the spool or skein in the videos before I stitch with them. The pens are Frixion heat erase pens.
