so good to hear about such taboo topics.. we never talk about them here atleast in India. Would be great to see you face to face someday and listen to you speak about such widespread taboos.

We are still shamed at menopause because it is still associated with menstruation and we are made to feel that is dirty, unclean, until it is completely over. Yet men soil their panties on a regular basis and are never shamed for it. in fact the unclean woman must wash his panties for him. I have often wondered why we are given free faeces hygiene (toilet paper) in public toilets but never free menstruation hygiene pads. We are shamed so much by society that we have to hide our bodily functions. Shame on the society that does this to women.
