I haven’t tried fancy yet, simply because I have many other gourmands and I didn’t want to purchase something too similar to fragrances I already have (especially going into warmer weather). I really like vintage bloom and also fancy love!

Fancy Love is my go-to and has been for years. It’s the one fragrance that consistently gets me compliments from strangers, men and women. There is nothing like it. It lasts a very long time, especially on clothes and bedding. It’s harder to find these days, sadly. I love it so much. ♥️

I feel like a complete clown because I am 32 and just discovered Fancy this week! I am sooooo in love with it. It's amazing to me I want to wear it daily. I really want Fancy Love, I heard its a "brunch" vibe perfume and I know it has champagne in it so I am very intrigued. As for Fancy Nights, my GMA just bought her 2nd bottle. I do not have Fancy Love, haven't had the opportunity to experience it yet, however I do have Fancy, Vintage Bloom, and Fancy Nights by Jessica Simpson. Vintage Bloom is a very light fragrance and I really like it a lot. And I actually like Fancy Nights...just got it today as a blind buy...lol On my skin it wore pretty good, but I wear fragrance oils like Frankincense, Amber, Patchouli, Myrrh and Oud...and so I can handle Fancy Nights. Thanks for the video!

I love myrrh, patchouli and frankinscense..I diffuse them all the time but I feel like the papyrus note was the main player on my skin and that turned me completely off the scent but I still have some of the sample left over so I will give it another go and let you know.

That J.S. Fancy Love is sooooo beautiful and magical. It literally gives me the sexy girl next door scent. Perfect for summer and the daytime. I would also wear it for a low-key date night or happy hour with the girls. Its youthful but not childish lol. I love it! Nordstrom Rack has the 3.4oz for $24.97 now. I bought 3 boxes.

Fancy Love is def the BEST! But believe it or not, there are alot of fakes out there that look so close to the genuine bottle of Fancy Love, so you have to buy it from a department store to ensure you're getting an authentic bottle.

I read somewhere that scammers don’t usually bother doing fake replicas of such cheap fragrances....Did you see a video on there being a lot of fakes of fancy love? I would want to check it out so I can differentiate the authentics from the fakes

@@bnunya8540 Well I think they may have done Fancy Love because it's so popular. It came out in 2009 and people still buy it. I bought several on Amazon, all at once before realizing this, and they definitely did not smell like the authentic Fancy Love.

Scammers are definitely getting more and more reckless with these fakes since the fragrance community is much more popular. I try to purchase way more from department stores now for that reason plus if you don't like the scent it's easier to return lol

They are not fakes. It may cost more to fake something like that. The perfume has been reformulated. Reformulation seems to have diluted the perfume... So now the scent evaporates quick. Reformulation ruined Burberry Classic too which is similar with Fancy Love. It's a sad thing...😢

@@Variationsofnani Look up the notes & reviews of Charlie Gold. This scent is popular among fans of sweet(ish)/gourmand perfumes, but I'm personally not one of them. I tried CG, returned it (due to the caramel note) but I love & wear Charlie Blue, Red, & White. Gold is a cozy, wintertime scent but again, not my olfactory cup of tea! I watched your review only for your opinion of Fancy Nights (I used to wear Fancy Love but outgrew the soft peachy-musk scent). I discovered I enjoy the (clean, smooth) patchouli in Jovan Black Musk & so I think maybe FN might suit me. I hear it smells like old books due to the papyrus note but being a writer, I do enjoy that bookish vibe.

I got rid of fancy a while back so I don't fully remember but it's definitely dense. I wouldn't say that I smell a strong specific peach/apricot fruit smell but it adds to the overall sweetness.

I just bought a two for one set of Fancy and Fancy Love in body mist form and they arrived today. I think I like the Fancy Love better than the original, at this point, though I may change my mind later. I concur with the more musky scent of it over the original. I'm still not really sure I love the Fancy yet, have to wear it for awhile to be certain. I'm pretty new to fragrance, not having really worn much of anything for the past 20 years other than an occasional spritz of Elizabeth Taylor White Diamonds Lustre because I raise rare breed chickens and they are highly sensitive to aromatics, plus I rarely see anyone other than my husband so felt silly buying more perfumes. I own only seven fragrances and six of those I bought this past week. I can't pick out notes at all other than generally detect if something is floral or musky, but it really doesn't much matter, I guess. I just go by what I like on my skin. Maybe I just need to learn more. One of my favorites so far is Sofia by Sofia Vergara so I guess I need to go by the notes in that scent for future purchases to be reasonably sure I won't hate them, LOL. ~Cynthia
