To me, Fancy smells sweet and fruity candy in the opening but then soon turns into a heavy vanilla and amber. Very deep vanilla. Very long lasting. I compare it to my other vanilla sweet perfume which is Pink Sugar which is a fluffy marshmallowy vanilla and does not last as long as Fancy.

@Stephanie R I don't know what it is about Pink sugar but all I get is hairspray. I forget the maker of the hairspray bottle but I remember it was in the 90s and it was a pink like super hot pink bottle of hairspray. Plastic. Every time I smell it I'm like oh that hairspray... Hahaha 😄🤣😂 I think it was made by suave. Maybe. It was definitely a hairspray that you didn't have to buy to hair salon. It smelled wonderful. But it smells so much like that I'm like oh that hairspray it's hairspray... Haha

I REALLY enjoy Fancy Love, too! The strange thing is that I get the creamy peach from the Fancy Love, and you get it from the original Fancy. Funny, huh? 😊

I don't have Fancy Love, but I have Fancy and Fancy Nights. I paid $16(US) for a 3.4oz Fancy and $4 for a 1.6oz Fancy Nights. I bought both during a very cold Ohio winter a couple of years ago. Fancy Nights was so strong I couldn't keep it on. Fancy went on very light and bloomed into a vanilla amber apricot beast that stayed for 18 hours. With it being that strong in the winter, I wasn't planning to touch it at all in the summer. I heard another reviewer say the same thing you said about Fancy vanishing quickly, which was not my experience, but her video was filmed in the summer. I tried my bottle again. The scent vanished in 20 minutes. I'm waiting for winter to experiment with Fancy again, but I think I'll dig out Fancy Nights now and see what it does in the heat while it's still warm here.

Thank you for the review. The original fancy is my sleep scent... I spray it on my clothes and skin before I go to sleep. I can still smell it on my clothes the next day and becomes a skin scent on. I love this scent...

I used to own Fancy Nights, I liked it a lot and found it very daring for a celebrity scent but I also found it hard to wear. I love to smell Fancy on other people, I'm not really into sweet fragrances as much as I once was but it is pretty and smells lovely in the air. I never tried Fancy Love but it sounds lovely. I Fancy You frustrates me SO much, I loved everything about it from the scent to the packaging. To me it smells a lot like Chanel Chance Eau Tendre but softer, fruitier and a little creamy... than it just ended up smelling rancid on my skin which is a shame because on paper it was really pretty and soft. I would love to hear your thoughts on I Fancy You and maybe Vintage Bloom too, if you ever get to try them :)

My favorite is Fancy Love. I have a 50 ml and a mini. I love the white milk glass bottle. You should try Vintage Bloom by her it is really nice but does not smell vintage!

Fancy Love smells like gummy peach rings to my nose…it’s so, so pretty! My favorite is Fancy though, for me the body mist is even better than the EdP, and even the body lotion smells gorgeous, I don’t have issues with the longevity. To this day, I’ve never tried the other fragrances in this range, but I’ve repurchased both Fancy and Fancy Love several times since I was in my early 20s. Those 2, and Moschino Funny (for hot days) were the only fragrances I owned when I was young and couldn’t afford designer or niche scents yet, I always got a lot of compliments, good stuff!! I’m currently on the lookout for a more refined and higher quality version of Fancy, I don’t care how much it costs, I truly need it…that delicious fruity opening + the caramel-almond-gardenia heart is still the best thing I’ve ever smelled! But the plasticky vanillla sandalwood drydown 3+ hours later I’m not crazy about now that I own better quality scents.

I have the original Fancy, it smells great but it doesn’t last on my skin either although the staying power is good on clothes. I’m going to be testing it out again now the weather is getting cooler to see if it performs better. I’m interested in trying the others now, thanks for reviewing them.

Love sweet perfumes but with Jessica Simpson Fancy I met my match. For me it's super strong beast mode Carmel that fills the room. Too strong.

I was really curious about Jessica's perfumes, since I expected it to be sweet. I have 3 perfumes of hers (Fancy, Fancy Girl, and I Fancy You) as for Fancy, a very unique smell but the caramel is a bit too strong for me. I wouldn't wear it going somewhere, let's put it that way. I don't get where you get the ice cream smell from though, I don't smell it at all. I only smell caramel. As for Fancy Girl, a powdery lightly-vanilla scent (which I usually love, but in this case I find it a bit odorless) and I have 'I Fancy You' which is a very, very fresh smell. Quite nice. Didn't try the other 2 you reviewed yet, so it got me curious! The thing with perfumes is that some times you love the bottle more than the smell (like I had with 'Glow' by 'Jennifer Lopez' it literally smells like soap, terrible, but I love the bottle so much!) with some perfumes you barely wear them (if so at all) but as a perfume-lover I just need to have them in my collection. Even if it's just for sniffing it ones awhile! I do know that the earlier perfumes Jessica released where always VERY sweet/cake/candy-ish (Dessert Treats classic, lol) never got to try them unfortunately (and they aren't available anymore) but nowadays her perfumes are bit more 'mature'.

I love Fancy Nights! My go to perfume for years. So sad that they don't make itanymore. Someone suggested Fancy Love I got it last month and it's not doing it for me. To me it smells like a fizzy grapefruit seltzer. I'm not getting any other notes. Maybe I'll go back to it and give it another try

Sadly it has. My new bottle smells so much weaker and not as good as my first bottle. I'm currently wearing fancy nights though with a spritz of vanilla on top. So good.
