One thing to add that is a MUST. Is to take a good look at the seal that the light uses to seal off the opening to the cab. They are foam and deteriorate. U will get water leaking into the cab.....Trust me. Obviously a new one will have a new gasket. This only applies to removing and re-installing the original light.

Normally love the videos but I had to thumbs down this one. Do your research before you suggest lifts etc. your truck is SO much different than a half ton, a 4-6 lift for a 2500 is completely different than a 4” lift for a 1500. Also rough country has quality stuff. They’ve been around forever and know what they are doing.

Kade McKinney thanks for your support but did you miss the part where I said I had a 1500 just like it? That body style uses torsion bar for both 1500 and 2500s so virtually it works the same way. Like I said, nothing wrong with rough country, as stated in the video, but from my personal experience, they make a lot of clunky noise that’s why I recommend people spending extra $300-400 for zone (which comes with warranty and parent company is BDS) I knew zone made a 6” lift but wasn’t sure about 4”. That’s where I assumed YOU GUYS (the audience) can chime in. After all, I wanted this to be a discuss with my subscribers

JW Montoya ya man I guess. I mean I see the similarities but most companies sell either a 4” kit or a 6” kit and they don’t have the adjustment with the torsions like the bigger trucks. Either way the rest was solid advice. Just not my favorite. To each his own.... Respect. 👍
