Try dry shampoo instead and putting a cap on your head when you shower! Works well for me

What do you do if the hair has already been braided? I know it won't look perfect, but is there a way to kind of "glue/smooth" the hair down? Or do I need to unbraid it (someone else braided it), use this technique, then rebraid?

You’re supposed to use edge control as your braid. Apply the edge control to your hair while you’re braiding it to smooth and seal the flyaways down. (Comb it out first) Then use a mousse to lock it in (depending on the brand, your hair will not be crunchy as a result)

@@Weakness4Sweetnezz the edge control work. I tried creme of nature and can't edge control. I like cantu more and it did work. Cantu is more waxy and moisturing. Creme of nature is like a stiff gel.

Thanks for this. Anyway to fix after it is braided? Tried a new person and my hair is out all over the braid. She picked up scissors to cut away fly aways (and some of my hair is gray and you could see it was my hair), I said no mam you’re not cutting my hair. But she didn’t even try to fix it. So disappointed and looking for a solution.

You need edge control or Jam AND you need to learn how to TUCK your ends in so that it is surrounded by the fake hair. There is no mention of tucking in this video that's why I have to give it a thumbs down. Using a product in the ends is pretty basic.

The gel eventually release the hair and it still stucks out. I take a strand of the weave and split it with my hair in the middle then add the gel. Hair is hidden and tucked real well in between the weave as ots braided down

@@a.f6435try tucking them in with a crochet hook. Push it through the braid and grab your ends with the hook. Pull it into the braid

I braided my daughter hair and her hair is frizzing out the braids I can't figure out why. Do you have a remedy for this? I used edge control it was so neat at 1st. The roots still look good but he frizz is making the braids look old.

Just got medium sized twists installed in my natural hair last week - and they are fuzzy already! 1st time getting braids/twists since being totally natural. I mean you can see my fuzzy hair down the shaft of the twists! Type 4b hair. Any tips on preventing this? Do you think it’s because it’s twists, or that my hair may do this even if I get braids? I do have fuzzy hair and this happens when I try to do twists on my own (keep in mind I am not a hair girl and can’t style it myself to save , my life!).

try using edge control or shine jam and comb through your natural hair before adding the extension.... but hunny braids will always be the best bet to be honest......
