How to Snooze the Child Check-Mate System

Disclaimer: This does not work with and/or apply to all Child Check-Mate systems. EP2/EP2plus models have a brake input wire that must be connected in order for this to work. Certain EP1plus models also have the brake input wire, but not all of them do. This is because many states have different specifications as to how the Child Check-Mate system must behave. Any system that deactivates with the ignition off rather than on is snoozed simply by turning the ignition back on. Brake snooze only applies to systems that deactivate with the ignition on.
System demonstrated in video: EP2plus version TTK 2.3.02 with Theft-Mate.

@@BusMaster99 I guess you learn something new every day. When I was in Pre-K, I rode in an IC CE from 2008 or 2009, and it was equipped with the older EP2 system. I remember the driver deactivating it and putting it in Charter Mode without shutting off the engine. Maybe the first time you hit the brake prevents the system from being deactivated unless the key is cycled?

If it's your bus, disconnect the 6-pin harness. If it's still in service as a school bus, it should never be tampered with or altered in any way.

​@@blazekcmo913Trans light can come on for several reasons. May need an oil and/or filter change. At 74K miles, there's no way the trans is shot already.

well thxs for letting me pick your brain alil ! yean theres not much info on the allison transmission , like i said just got it yesterday so still looking into it myself will this trans light go out on its own or is there a reset @@BusMaster99
