I think this video is great but I think missing a ranged vs melee assassin matchup was a shame. Through gold and plat at least thats a huge chunk of my games - 8 of my last 10 have been into melees, with 2 against shiv LB... Would be great to get something on this in the future!

Hey Shok, amazing guide as always! I have a question to the first game, the first kill around 7:40. I don't fully understand what is Viktor's correct play here, could you dive in with more details? You said he should use cooldowns on Syndra or threat that, but the fact is he does need to fix his wave or he'll stay frozen on and bleed CS, cause he can't auto. How does focusing Syndra help, would he poke her down so that she can't stay on lane? Or no individual play saves him here really and he needs to break the freeze with jungler? Thanks!

The real messup is at 7:20 where he doesnt have the abilities to trade back (because it was used to farm), consequently creating the kill pressure on 7:40 by being a trade ahead

I could be wrong, but I think his extremely wide river leaning was more about forcing Ziggs to choose between him and the wave and avoiding taking any stray Q aoe damage. Sure, leaning for nunu makes sense, but I doubt he would have went that far to the left against other champions lol. Although maybe it is just a nunu specific thing since nunu can build up quite a bit of speed with snowball. Either way, leaning THAT hard seems like a very specific niche thing for this particular game. Like, how often is there actually a tangible benefit to standing next to the dark bush in mid?

I think it's pretty important to hug that hard against all the long range ganking JGs like Hec/Zac/Nunu/J4 (with 6), or if the map is split and you know their support and JG are both on the opposite side you might as well hard hug to the opposite side, there isn't really a downside to it

Junglers that want to put camps on cooldown and invade, different to a farming jungler because most farming junglers just wanna fullclear without invading too much. Examples of tempo junglers are stuff like Nidalee, Kindred, Graves etc

Thanks for this video. I have a question around @9:00. Instead of using skills to push the minion wave to break Syndra's freeze, what should Viktor have done? I feel like Viktor already was in a disadvantage position. Should he continue to auto the wave or call his jungler over to crash the wave? Thanks!

@lukechen4295 Called his jungler to crash wave. His jungler would probally be around bot side krugs or near bot. You see Viktor pinging in the chat, but he goes gready for the wave. He should just have stayed in XP range

Hey, is there a video telling what to do when enemy midlaner is low and im also low, i couldnt track a jg, and my jg is not responding to free 300g+wave gold and xp. As far as im concerned, chovy tries to base later than the opposing laner. Do i win rng by trying to outplay or i just lose rng by getting ganked by enemy?

It's really just dependent on their jungler/your HP/how much gold etc. Just gotta evaluate the risk vs reward of trying to crash the wave vs basing, I'd normally try and crash the wave though and try hug away from their jungler

video was great and super informative but I didn't get my question answered TT. Maybe wrong video? I main Ahri (low elo). Most games I end up losing with KD of 12/3 on average (usually, giving a 1k shutdown to the enemy ADC :) ). So like I really shouldn't be losing after such a massive lane lead and clearly am not using my leads properly. I guess being 12/3 means I've already snow balled? and should be figuring how to close out the game?

Youre like 6/1 at some point in the game. What do you do with it? Do you roam, do you help with or force objectives. Do you put pressure on the enemy

@@lars7747 I usually shove wave secure vision or shove wave and roam bot. Usually pick up the kills bot too and my team (adc) usually never gets it - been trying to work on giving kills because everfrost ahri doesnt really need so much gold (imo). I usually gain prio for the first 2 objectives but after that, its a blur, aram mid or perma fight in river - which is usually where i give the shutdown. I guess on average, I only get 1 successful roam off during lane phase, but as soon as I shove my wave, even if I dont roam, Im always walking around be river, staying off vision, or sweeping. Should I be staying in lane more? Or trying to force jungle invades?

I have a video on how to close out games which might be helpful for you, normally though it'll just come down to how well you play teamfights and calling baron at the right time (plus being there for dragon fights). Game is almost always won off teamfight win > baron/dragon > get more powerful > win next teamfight > win the game so if your teamfighting is lacking and you either don't do enough or get picked too often you'll struggle to close out

Question, when he went for the triplekill roam in the Asol game, what do you think of Syndra freezing rather than shoving into the tower? It seemed to me that, since Syndra was behind in tempo, she didn't get much from pushing and might've been safer or denied more creeps if she didn't.

Honestly I think she should've realized Galio could roam and push earlier, maybe since she was too late it might've been better to hold it but I think pushing is definitely more gold if she can realize in time
