You and your family are an insperation to me I just brought my daughter a 7 week budgie u had one at her age but cockateal trained it but all wrong reasons but he loved me then my mom brought in a budgie and didn't want me called them rocky stalone... This time don't want to chase our new friend too much and we have managed to get him her on our shoulder introduced a plate birdbath which loved after it decided what it done got shy but had a drink as I felt it was too hot and it did not want to get in cage... We love it and waiting to see if it is boy or girl still being pesistant without panting it out. Love watching ur videos

Hey u have probably heard this a few times but I have 2 ringnecks and they were both terrified of me but I was patient and I didn’t give up even though they were mean to me. Give your bird some treats and talk slowly and quietly. Then your bird will know you aren’t there to harm them. Don’t give up on them because Irns are very timid and they take time. Just be confident around your bird. ♥️♥️

Had the most horrible experience i need to share so this does not happen to anyone. Today i woke up and my lovebird was not in his cage. I went to bed early last night was so tired. I eventually found him tucked under my pillow dead. He has come out his cage and crawled up for cuddles like we always do but i have not known. He can open the bars up in the cage im completely gutted. I lay on him sleeping. I wish I had put him in his drawer I usually do for his 12 hours but fell asleep.

Love the video! I just got an Indian ringneck he is very young. I’ve been letting him get used to his new cage. How long should I leave him alone before trying to work with him because he just runs away from me. How do I find what treats will work best for training? Any recommendations?

Wonder if this would work with 2 of my cockatiels. Had them for a few years now and they're still frightened of objects and hands. They'll eat out of my hands, and the male will jump on to eat. But he won't stay there. The male steps up when i ask him too, Only if i've got sunflowers seeds or millet. The girl will do everything possible Not to step up. Even when you press a finger on her chest to encourage her to step up. She just Leans her entire body across to try and reach it. If i even Dared to point a training stick in their direction, they'll fly.

Hi! I know that you're not supposed to use certain cookware around birds, but I'd like to hear more from you about it. :) I'd also like to know what you think are some good questions to ask a breeder and things to look for in a breeder when looking to get a bird.

Question for the community as much you guys. I have a Conure and he’s young, and untrained but I’ve got him to step up and started touch training. My issue is that when he’s in my arm or hand as soon as he finishes his reward he starts trying to bite my hand or arm or clothes even. How do I stop this???

Hello!! I love your videos! I am currently trying to train my 3-4months IRN, she all of the sudden when stepping up to my hands and finishing her treat, bites aggresively my fingers/hands and I have to put her down and I try to finish training in good terms but I dont know how with this behaviour, ive been training her only for 2 days and I was instructed to maybe step back from training for a couple of days. What can I do, this behaviour is new, can you help me, please I feel so bad, before training she didn't bite my fingers like that when in my hands.

I took in a Indian Ringneck that was going to be a breeder bird and it didn't work out. He seems to be a good nature and has a lot of potential to be trained with work. Right now he will let us pet him for a treat etc but won't let us hold him and he panics when I try to take him to a perch away from his cage. How can I help him with that anxiety?

Hi Jamieleigh, I need urgent help. I am a parent of a 5 year old female Hahns Macaw. I am currently based in Singapore but very soon relocating to Dublin Ireland. I am trying to find a good pet bird relocation service who can assist me with this relocation. I am so stressed out right now since most of these services only help relocation for dogs and cats. Could you please share any contacts of a good service who has presence in APAC and EU region
