I was wondering how I could get this look. I usually do a braid out or use Wrap-A-Lock tools, but I want a different look. Your hair came out really nice. I like the cotton roller, because my hair is long. I think the cotton will help it dry faster. Do these rolls come in back?

Beautiful results! I’ll have to try this one weekend. Have you ever done this and let it air dry and tested out the results? I don’t know if my nerves can handle the dryer for hours. 😂 I have used steam rollers to achieve a similar look and it worked out well. The only problem is I need more steam rollers so I can roll the entire head at one time versus in two sessions.😜

yep! I let it air dry the first time. I wouldve let it air dry this time, but I had somewhere to be that evening

I started my hair with interlocking, will my locs get as thick as this or would I only get the thick look if I had started with twist? I really like the thicker look. Anyone feel free to answer please.

it depends on your hair density and thickness. I have seen some interlocks get very full over time. Those people also tended to have very thick hair to begin with. At this point most of the length my hair has been interlocked, and I would say the interlocked portions are only slightly more compact than my originally twisted portions
