If anyone working for me stood on a ladder like that, I’d send them home for being a liability

Excellent video. This was exactly what I was looking for. How much SH did you go through on that job? How many square feet approximately was the roof? Any idea what the dilution rate would have been? In other words, was it like maybe 2% by the time it hit the roof? Sorry for all the questions but this is exactly the situation I'm going to be facing this week on my first metal roof wash. Thanks for this.

Downstreaming a metal roof is like pissing in the wind to be honest. Unless you’re just knocking dust off, the amount of chem you’re actually getting into the line and making it to the roof is under 1%. For metal, actually dirty organic growth you’re gonna want at minimum a 3% mix for roofs, and that’s at minimum! Not knocking the guy, the roof doesn’t look horrible and hopefully wasn’t using any pressure off camera but yeah, downstreaming on roofs is def not the way to go lol

You should invest in a ladder stabilizer.

It’s on the ladder actually. I was to last to move it down and use it 😅

Use a pressure washing tip 40degree 20 gallon at the end of kevlar carbon fiber pole to reach top from groung

Done enough times and bleach dries on there, it will eventually rust the metal
