My only question would be.. when doing that type of project, What type of temperature does it have to be to put chemicals. I know the heat of the sun , plus the heat of the roof and the chemical strength is good. But is there a time of the day to do it ?

Can you use with a 12volt softwash system i have your 12volt pump i have a whole 2 story house to do the vinyl a pump sprayer would take along time and a ladder

I hope this is an intelligent question. I see you're applying the Ox-Knox from the bottom up on that section of roof. When you go UP to the next section and use the sprayer, doesn't the un-diluted run-off of Ox-Knox onto the section already cleaned below have the capacity to damage the already cleaned metal's paint?

Hey Coty, My name is Kenny and im a recent customer. Bought a case and the training video and began attempting to restore my green metal roof this past weekend. My first attempt provided mixed results which i am sure is more related to my technique and not the chemical. My intention was to allow 10 minutes of dwell time but found it wanting to dry rather quickly. Afraid letting it dry could damage the paint, I would re-wet with water and began hitting it with a brush. Got most of the oxidation off but left streaks and patches. After saying all that, should I be keeping it wet for the full 10 minutes with my chemical mix rather than applying water when it is drying quickly?

Hoping to get a reply.. built our home 13 yrs ago. Standing seam black.. very pricey!!! I have contacted builder as I believe it has a 40 yr warranty. Not sure what if anything they’ll do but is this something you see in early “life” of a metal roof? Our black roof now has a white haze all over. Will definitely go with this if manufacturer fails to stand behind warranty.. if this falls under that! Thx for any help!!!

It could be oxidation but it’s easy to check for and see if that’s what you have going on. Swipe it with your hand and see if oxidation comes off
