Thanks for your comment! It works with smooth leather and for grased leather.

I've read an instruction on the website and it says OK for smooth/oil tanned leather and NOT ok for nubuck/suede. Seems like it is OK for any sorts of full grain leather (including what you've mentioned) but I don't get the difference between dubbin and mink oil for oil tanned/smooth leather apart content of animal fat.
