@@eugeniaeditsthank you so much for the tutorials, I would like you to make a new one on how to make gold soldering. I remember you promised to do a video about it. 😅
@eugeniaedits Жыл бұрын
@Dianne_Singer 😅♥️ so I did a ton of research and there is a way by applying liquid gold. But that substance is pretty toxic and it’s rubbing off with wear. Soooo… I can try to take you to a gold leaf rout. I think to seal it best bet would be resin. But these two steps seem like a lot of work. But I will experiment and record it for you ♥️ I am filming how to do texture with soldering video ♥️ so gold leaf will be next 🤞🏻💃🏻

Maybe I missed this in the video...what type of metal works for jump rings? Stainless steel? Sterling silver? Do you know if I could use brass or copper jump rings, or would they be likely to melt so near the soldering iron? Thank you! I'm learning so much from your delightful videos

You are sooo wonderful- so glad I found you! You are VERY good at explaining- extremely detailed - the personal art inspiration is the icing on the cake 🎂! Loved the examples for chains. I hope to order a soldering tool as soon as I save up enough for a good one. My favorite rings you’ve made (and I love all of them) is the flat coral ring, the China plate with the Asian guy, large amethyst ring- beautiful!

I am not sure - is the metal you use for soldering actual silver or solder? The translation tricks me a bit😅 I am trying to source the materials but Amazon is not so accessible for Romania. Super cool tutorials🫶🏻
@eugeniaedits Жыл бұрын
Hi! No worries! I understand translations could be tricky! I am using metal alloy, it’s a combination of metals that are melted at a much lower temperature than silver. For silver we would need to use torch ( with fire). Solder on the other hand does not require high temperature. I think in Romanian it’s “ спойка за запояване”. Here is link to what I mean mladkonstruktor.bg/oborudvane-za-zapoqvane/. But please make sure to buy the one without lead. Lead is conduce in Romanian. I hope this helps ♥️ Happy Holidays and thank you so much for watching my channel 😘

m glad that this video has been very helpful to ME. Thank you so much. I'm sorry, but could you please add Korean subtitles to the video? I would be extremely grateful if you could, but if it's difficult, it's okay not to do it! I'm already very grateful... Will jewelry made of copper tarnish when it comes into contact with water? How should it be maintained, and are there any precautions to take during maintenance?
@eugeniaedits Жыл бұрын
Hi! ♥️♥️I am so happy you find my videos helpful! I will try to figure out how to add subtitles to my video in different languages. I’ve been thinking to do that. 💕 Regarding copper jewelry as long as it’s covered with lead free solder, it will not tarnish. I have been wearing all my rings for two years now washing dishes in them and hands. And they don’t tarnish. also, I use copper base, but silver plated call parents that I also have tested and they do not tarnish. So, when soldering, just make sure to use other parts of your attaching Soldering pieces to that won’t tarnish either. For instance, if you are attaching jump rings to a soldered piece, make sure it’s made out of sterling silver so that part won’t tarnish. The actual solder will never tarnish, but be mindful of other materials you attaching solder to. I hope this helps.♥️♥️✨😘😘😘

Just wondering what the benefits of copper tape are? Does it act as a guidline, or does it assist the solder to stay on the rock? Thanks :)
@eugeniaedits8 ай бұрын
Hi! So without copper tape solder won’t stick. Since copper is conductive, it lets solder stick. So copper tape will stay underneath the solder but if you cover it well it won’t be visible :)
