How to Solder with Silver Solder Without Breaking the Bank? (35 euros!)

There are several ways to connect copper plumbing pipes together.
Initially, I thought the most economical connection was using tin, which means soldering where the tin would bind the copper parts together. This way, the tin can be heated at a low temperature to adhere well to the copper, so you only need a simple torch to make such a connection.
Now, if you have gas pipes or copper connections that need to be made within a wall, it is usually necessary to use brazing, meaning a strong solder point, the big difference being that this time the material must be heated to a temperature where it sticks to itself. That's the very definition of brazing. So, the filler material is copper for a copper joint. Unfortunately, to melt copper, you need a much higher heating temperature than simple tin.
I thought only dual-gas setups could achieve this temperature, and so the investment was really huge to do a little plumbing DIY at home.
I then understood that it was entirely possible to perform strong soldering with simple butane gas. You simply need to be able to direct the gas close enough so that the flame surrounds the pipe well and thus achieve the desired temperature.
This product is truly a bargain for those who want to kill two birds with one stone.
Almost everyone has a Butagaz camping stove at home, so the investment only includes the torch and the copper brazing rods, which is really economical.
Of course, I don't consider this a professional method, but I must admit that my various experiments really make me want to continue down this path.

J'ai utilisé le même genre de chalumeau (camping gaz)qui m'a coûte 60 euros et j'ai pu faire toutes mes brasures de ma maison.

Bonjour je voudrais savoir vous utiliser du gaz propane ou butane ? Faut il un détendeur J’ai un chamumeau acheté sur Leroy merlin à 25 euros marque dexter qui ne veut pas faire les brasures forte pas assez puissant c’est du à quoi svp

J'utilise du Butane tout simple. Le propane est possible mais il faut un détendeur en plus. Ici, le secret, c'est la buse en forme de C qui aide à bien chauffer et donc réaliser une brasure forte même avec un gaz tout simple.

J'ai ce chalumeau depuis 50 ans, j'ai déplacé une chaudière à gaz, de la cuisine au sous-sol. Pour le gaz j'ai utilisé ce bec enveloppant. Même pas peur....

Ce n'est pas parce que c'est du gaz que le pas de vis est inversé, mais c'est la fente sur les faces de l'écrou, qui l'indique .

Les filetages gaz sont toujours à gauche pour éviter tous montages sur alimentation eau qui sont à droite

J'aurais été plus rassuré si il y avait eu un "détendeur" ( sécurité retour de flamme obligatoire ?) sur la bouteille de gaz !!!!!!!???????😲

Bonjour, le constructeur indique que l'on utilise sans détendeur, comme votre bleuet de camping avec du Butane (bouteille bleue) C'est nécéssaire pour du propane, par contre. (bouteille rouge) Bonne journée

Bonjour, Pour info sache que tu utilises des baguettes de brasure carrés pécial piquage, utilise des rondes leur fluidité te permettra de braser plus facilement
