I'm actually really close to giving up on this fight every other boss i absolutely murdered except for adam who killed me three times but I cannot for the life of me kill dracula. Been at him for about 3 or 4 hours now across a few days. Closest ive gotten is using the legendary greatsword with scholar blood and mage armour but I keep getting dropped, i really hate having to memorise moves and counters not my idea of fun Ive fought him so much with the greatsword I had to fix it and he doesnt break your armour when he kills you thats how long i have been at it its crazy

Same here. Stupid hard fight. I'm so angry about it I would not play the sequel unless I know that they didn't repeat this. Most of the game was pretty challenging but doable. This is quite ridiculous. Like others have said, you 100% can't win unless you fight him a billion times and memorize patterns. Not fun.

My way to Dracula.1. I pick all the buffs witch potion,rage potion,vampiric potion,protection from fire. 2. I kill the dragon take the amulet replace the ulty. 3. I pick stormshield and a spell to nuke. 4. I go to Dracula 5. First phase is easy .. if I lose health or do any mistake I flee. 6. He becomes pissed off.. second phase.. he summons a crystal I use Ult on the crystal . Give a hit with the weapon bye bye crystal .. He starts the bulletstorm ,he throws crap? What a blessing . I move like you did at the edge and grab as many of these bullets as possible with the shield .He summons a crystal I nuke with the spell,dash use weapon ability kill crystal. We have space again and finally kill Dracula. :) My only tip.. do not lose of your sight Dracula.. where he is is crucial. Dracula shows his intentions always . It took months for me to understand how to kill him without using heals at all. After getting used to him the best way to teleport with your loot at your base after a rift run ,yes ... Kill Dracula and teleport with your loot at your castle instead of flying or using a horse. For me Talzur shard (purple shard) is the best because you start the second phase relaxed knocking his first crystal fast and you do not have to deal with a bulletstorm plus the crystal plus ...you save one dash. :). I have suffered a lot . Now I kill him every time I do a type 2 rift. Draculin blood type is also good at night.. as he cannot reach you and you already know all his patterns well. When he is doing his sword rain he cannot reach you plus half of his attacks can be dodged without dash.

I tried co-op, it’s was extremely hard on co-op. Tried it on solo, not tactics. Used great sword, power surge w/shield gem, and blood rage, shadow armor set and 💯 brute. Literally just went after him like a rabbit dog, aggressive the whole time and it was like child’s play. Pretty much attack him in a circling motion, getting his every once and a while but with the brute blood, you’ll be healing constantly.

I havnt played brutal yet but when I finally beat it on brutal I will most likely post another video for it! Tho I will say its gonna take me a minute, I’m currently working on a video where I beat v rising when its always sunny. So I can’t promise it anytime soon sorry:/

I prefer the one I’m using in the video which gives extra shield and leach cause the rampant healing is really nice to fix any side damage you take here and there. I would say they all would probably work but I think using stuff that gives life leach and try to use a weapon that has a movement option like the great sword or the normal sword

Hmmm I haven’t seen this, I have heard that playing with multiple people and brutal change the fight quite a bit so that could be part of it

@@true_cyan9188 Yes it's in Brutal. Have to kills adds before they reach him or they heal him. After that it's a DPS race to finish him off.

i dont know about brutal but for adam id say run rogue for move speed, youll need it. i had the frost dash to give a shield, plus a slow him after a hit. i also used a blood rite counter so be immaterial for when the orbs are on the ground. i used pistols and their e ability gives me extra mobility to dodge his grabs and slams. hope this helps. for ults it should be fine with chaos volley btw

Are you doing something special to ignore the vampire curse he applies on hit?

are you possibly on brutal? i dont know the differences between the difficulties but I dont think i had to deal with vampire curse

As far as I know, the vampire curse only appears when you fight him with other players. The same goes for the extra wolves he summons when transforming into a wolf himself. For the curse, you can use blood fountain with a jewel that has this effect: "Removes all negative effects from self and nearby allies on the initial hit.". Another way is to wait until the timer above your head almost expires and then dodge out of the explosion.

I watch all these videos, and they sure show great runs, but every time I fight Dracula in phase 2, he throws 2 or 3 moves at once at me the whole time. I get the spinning cross with swords. Or swords with the dim lights and bats. Is it just RNG on how to get a clean run where he gives you ample time to move around? Also seems that this run is on easy, he is not hitting as hard as he should be. I have 100% warrior blood and Dread Armor for the dmg reduction, and I still take 3x4 times as much damage.

I’m on normal, and I havnt adjusted any setting or anything. I think some of it is luck on the parry procing from the warrior blood, but also most of his individual moves don’t do that much it’s usually when you get chained into a couple. I also have a lot of self healing spells and i think my sword gives me leach as well. Phase two is kinda tough but I think it’s about learning how to hit him while he is doing his moves more than there will be a window for you to wack on him

The cloak is alucards cape and you get it from the paid dlc castlevania pack I think it’s 20$. And I’m on normal difficulty idk if he does more or what, it could also be the blood type I’m using I think it’s warrior blood which has damage reduction

​@@true_cyan9188His brutal only mechanics were disgustingly overtuned as were his coop only mechanics. I practiced against him for about 8 hours pre-nerf but beat him in 2 tries after the nerf. The brutal only mechanics are still quite the sight and quite the fight even after the nerf, though.
