I wondered the same thing, when I got this card once I rolled according to the threat level at the time ( beeing two dice) not the number of hostages. but I remember trying to look it up on bgg because it seemed kind of unclear at the time as well.

i know this is an old video. but i just ordered all of the hostage negotiator games and expansions. i went all in! lol. crime wave, carrier, packs' i love this video and the story telling. the game looks awesome. and solo. i am big into solo gaming. question about the end game. so when you did the hostage extraction and got the kid and she surrendered herself, do you have to deal with the card underneath her also or does that go away?

The theme of this game is super dark but looks like it has some really fun game mechanics. I can't wait for it to come back in stock so I can buy it. XD

I never roll that well in this game. Dice just hate me. But I still love the game!

I had a rare string of lucky plays... Then I turned the camera off and the dice went back to normal. lol
