I have a theory that hobo, the Duke of rocks, and Kai are all part of the kai legion, but each one developed their own offshoot or different type of training that led to their different weapons. Kai might have known, so maybe that’s why they say he doesn’t think other Kai would like to know he was alive

One tip is if you don't get onshot but the punch them you can use glider and that sleep hat thing that heals you even if you don't have the hat you can stall In the air for a bit of hp.

Actual mechanic, not only have I been stunlocked by many enemies besides Kai and it just doesn't parry or even block when I press F, but I've been stunlocked in PvP by insignia prism lance users, with the only way to escape being to use focus because PvP doesn't trigger skills like Resilient for some reason.

another tip: USE DELICATE EGGS. these accessories are goated. basically what they do is DOUBLE YOUR PARRY WINDOW (at the cost of more damage taken), and best part is that THEY STACK... UP TO 5 TIMES!! even though they can stack up to 5 i like to use 2 and keep accessories for dps so you dont have to parry as much such as the combo glove, the mysterious charm, and the malady medal with aced bloodthirst, with patchwork so you hopefully regen some health after he's knocked down.

Kai is really easy now.. Explanation: You can run from Kai by equipting a storm boots and you can easily parry the range attack that he use when you try to run even if he's mondo is really easy. Just parry the range attack and run just that easy!

I don't know if, this was written before Kai's rework, but now he bait you in phase 2, melee combo are instant and you can't run away, overhead now is not guaranteened after a melee combo and the best part? He literally will keep on stomping your corpse after your death, it's just impressive how a boss can go from fun and challenging to being annoying and unfair. He's still looks dope as hell tho.
