You don't need to kill maiden of virtue at all for either going for midnight or the smoldering Emberwyrm.... It's purely optional for those hunting transmog. And to get the smoldering dragon you have to do a speed run through mythic and click the 5 crystals in the dungeon and then get to medivh before your buff expires and you'll get the achieve "one night in karazhan" you get 20% chance for the Mount per person in the group that can get loot. Sooooo if you have 5 ppl in the group you're guaranteed 1 dragon per week

Oh if youre a pet battler, you can talk to the elemental in Legion Dalaran where the stables and pet vendor is. They can teleport to Westfall. Works for both H/A.

oh cool! what makes you an official "pet battler"? i mean, i do some pet battles, like during the trading post stuff where its like "do 15 pet battles" for the travellers log but, the elemental doesnt give the option to teleport me just curious if you know what requirement you need for it to work? :) no worries if ur not sure

It sends you to do Dead Mines pet battle gauntlet. It just drops you by a guy in Moon Brook. I am not sure if you have to do the battle or not. I did it once and every character on my account can use that elemental to get there.

@@LadySurvivalWoW The NPC Manapoof in the pet shop in Dalaran (and in the BFA main faction cities) has a quest you can do to unlock portals to Wailing Caverns, Deadmines, Gnomegon, Stratholme and Blackrock Depths. To unlock the portals you have to successfully complete the each pet battle dungeon (it's about 11 pet battles per dungeons, vs teams of L25 pets). Do you have to start with Wailing Caverns and than work your way up through the dungeons. Edit: quest might be from Breanni, beside Manapoof in the shop. Wailing Caverns & Deadmines are not too hard, but after that it gets harder. But once you unlock the portals, you can use them across your whole account from Legion Dalaran or BFA via talking to Manapoof. Both KrakenLatte & HazelNuttyGames have guides on how to do the dungeons. Some pets get nerfed over time, so sometimes have to look up an alt strategy for certain fights. It's a bit of work to do, but imho totally worth it for the teleports (especially for Horde to get to STV during the Fire Festival :). Also... did not know there was a STV portal from Undercity. When I use the Orgrimmar one I end up more in the depths of the Undercity, I suspect that's one of those if-your-character-did/didn't-do-BFA quests quirks, but I'm definitely going to look next time I'm there. Loving the videos! So cool to see new videos on mount farming in the styles. Looking forward to watching them all!

​@@LadySurvivalWoW You have to do a pet dungeon once on regular mode and that will unlock the teleport to near that pet dungeon's entrance from either version of Dalaran or your BFA capital city (Kul Tiras for Alliance, for example). You don't have to do the dungeon after the teleport. You do need a lot of level 25 pets to actually do the pet dungeons.

If you’re alliance use your Dalaran hearthstone. Once in Dalaran walk out to the middle building. In the middle there’s a circular teleporter on the floor. Step on it go to the hidden portal room. Walk all the way down first portal to the right as you turn is the left portal directly to Karazhan

The other week I went for the Smoldering Embrr Wyrm. Figured with 20% it would only take a few tries. Figured while there I would just kill that boss while expecting nothing. 2nd run ever , I get midnight. Took me like 12 runs for the dragon. I fully believe if you arent farming, the game knows and drops things for you. Happened with Elegon and the mount from Blackhand too.

I feel you, I was grinding for the white hawk strider for ages, then I brought my friend to show him where to get the phoenix pet and it dropped, he was cool enough to let me have it. I also used to grind for the fire lands mounts, but I stopped and recently I did a run for the first time in a while and I got it lol

Also Mage can actually set their hearthstone to a hidden area near Karazhan. You first get there from doing the mage mount quest from legion. So basically you can just hearth to Karazhan.

I have been going for Midnight as well for blood DK redness. You are right, you can skip everything after the play boss. Just jump off balcony and go down the stairs at 13:25 and it takes you right to the midnight guy.

Going to save you a bunch of time; instead of turning Right and proceeding to kill the "Maiden of Virtue", just turn left and head down that ramp (Servant's Quarters). 12:35 At the bottom, head to the right through the spiders, and you're at Midnight.

Your videos are so easy for a beginner to understand. I tried farming a mount from killing the Jaina raid boss (I forgot the name of the raid) and the guide was so confusing for me. What do you do with the old raid loot? If you sell it to a vendor you still get to keep the transmog right? I'd also love to see a video from you of your favorite flying mounts. Unfortunately the way they designed the modern zones, ground mounts feel super outdated. But I also feel a bit corny swooping around on the ones I got just for buying the game. I need something cool with some LadySurvival aesthetic to it to make my Void Elf look proper. Would be a cool idea just to have like a "top 10" list and a quick couple lines about how to get them, don't need a full guide. Thanks again for the great videos. I've found a lot of channels assume you know a lot of basic stuff about the game already... such as where certain cities/towns are even located lol

There's a portal in the prepatch event room that goes directly to the Karazhan dungeon. It's the fifth/ most right portal in the room. Just clicked random portals in that room and was pleasantly surprised.

hmm for me its not there? I see the portals to Searing Gorge, Dustwallow and Dragonblight, then one to Dalaran Crater, then an empty spot beside that where I'd assume you're seeing the Kara portal. I wonder if thats something someone was talking about.. a portal to kara specifically for mages if they did the class mount quest from Legion? i never did it so im not sure. but I saw someone else comment about something with mages and a portal (or even a hearthstone?) right to Kara either way, thats awesome

11:37 this is the mistake in the video... going on past the Opera Event... if you're just there to farm Midnight, all you need is to kill the Opera Event, then GO BACK THE WAY YOU CAME IN... all the way back... then from the entrence (as if you were coming back in) you go left (or continue past the entrance coming back from Opera) and keep hugging the right passages... a door will open to the Grand Ballroom (it was sealed until you cleared the Opera event), simply jump over the ledge, do a 180 and go down the stairs to the Horseman for Midnight... it is much faster then pressing on from the Opera event.

I finally got the newer Midnight after countless runs with Alts, the original one I actually got back in the burning crusade as it dropped for my guild about 5 times. To anyone going for the new one in return to Karazhan be careful with the west side story event in the opera, it can bug out and it gets annoying as you won't be able to beat it and progress.

For me it took a long time for this mount to drop. I started solo mount running during late WOTLK and I didn't get it to drop for until Shadowlands. So over around 12 years.

I am beginning to think it is a myth or a conspiracy. I do have a request though 🥺Life Binders Handmaiden in Dragon souls. I didn’t see a video on it but if you did have one please let me know. Or can you do one? I am stuck on the dragons back and keep falling off. I have tried and tried and watched so many videos but I just can’t get how to do it. There is something I am missing and I am hoping if you explain it I will get it. I just “found” you and your videos I have watched it’s like you are totally speaking in my language! So if you could do a video or have one that helps me get this mount I’d be ecstatic. I play a main hunter too so that would help me as well. No rush, expansion is soon but someday would be fantastic. actually just went and looked into it (kinda forgot that was ever a thing haha) theres a Thrallmar Mage npc for horde downstairs of the portal room that can send you there! and then for the alliance pretty sure its Honor Hold Mage right when u go in the mage tower that, is definitely a quicker way there!! thanks for reminding me

@@knighthawk3749 you know what, the clicking of the right and left click is so nice, but the controller has better ergonomics for me. Its the arch around your thumb/index finger area, for me can get a lil cramp like when playing for hours. Controller I can lay down too, and put smart glasses on, cmon come to the dark sideth 🖖
