not gonna lie mate you sound miserable. and the numbers don’t lie, wow is still the most played mmo today, and it’s not the case for everyone, but a lot of players migrate between retail and vanilla depending on what’s happening content wise, for me retail is an excellent game that is for me personally, a seasonal game. i mainly play classic and i really enjoy it. clearly, a lot of other people are too, i think you’re the outlier here.

@melville836 you're right I am miserable a game I've been loyal too for 17 years hasn't launched anything new in YEARS. Retail wow doesn't even look good on my computer, running classic is an insult to it. If this launch of classic was go introduce it to council platforms I wouldn't even be salty. You all realize you're giving money into a pit that had no creative responsibility over the "Vanilla" version of the game you love? So all the hype and money you have thrown at them, isn't their product or "baby" it was somebody else's. If you're actually okay with that, your probably rage at the Turtle Wow and Ascension wow advertisers like " NOoooooo how could you copy blizzards masterpiece and make it better! 😭😭😭".

@ i mean, dragonflight was a massive success, tww as been solid. there is constantly new content and updates to retail. the game looks good, feels good. it’s in a pretty good spot atm. are there things i would change about the game right now? sure. but to say it hasn’t launched anything new in years when you probably last logged in and began by dragon riding is pretty funny. i don’t really know what your issue is, you just seen hell bent on arguing with someone. and not gonna lie mate, there’s not a day goes by where i even think about turtle wow.

@@melville836 I'm not as negative as @adamfrogget845 but imo he's got a point, I still enjoy WoW casually but you gotta admit a lot of the content is just recycled (patch 11.0.7 I'm thinking about you!) and feel stale after a bit, so maybe that's why he feels that way

@melville836 tww is not solid log into dornogol it's empty besides a few bots and the Randoms who just log in and enjoy the ambiance or just stare at the screen. Look at raid participation, dungeons, delves. It isn't on the uptick and in many ways not better than dragonflight.. you're all being fooled by blizzard. They don't even few shadowlands as a failure because of the subscription count. But that isn't how we judge games like this anymore.

I completely agree! Classic WoW is 100% my favorite. It just has such a wholesome feel to to it that you just dont get on retail cuz it feels so grindy. Thank you so much!!

@@LadySurvivalWoW Wholesome is a perfect word to describe classic. Not only classic has this old fashion fantasy charm, but you can tell so much heart was put into making this world.

Yea I tried a few hardcore characters awhile back when they first came out with it but yeaaa its annoying to die and I got too sad every time I lost a character </3 I dont think i can handle doing it again cuz I just get too emotionally attached to my characters hahaha XD but it is a lot of fun while it lasts and yea definitely some quests you need a group

oh i totally feel that. I've taken several breaks in my lifetime and yep that feeling always comes back <3 undead zones on classic are great. i wanna do them again for my next toon I've personally always had a really good/chill experience with end game content on classic. mind you, the last time i did end game raiding in classic was back in 2020-2021 era so it was still pretty fresh having classic WoW. so im not sure if its changed. i think it would ultimately depend on what guild you're in! just make sure you find people that align with you and aren't taking things *too* seriously haha and even without a guild, im sure you can just find random people to join in trade chat. classic raids seem to be a lot simpler too, the mechanics arent very hard so there shouldnt be much toxicity as long as you're paying attention so yea i think its generally pretty wholesome all around from leveling to end game imo

I agree theres a few quality of life changes that could make classic even better, so I feel what you're saying and thats totally valid. I personally dont mind those things too much and just view it as part of the nostalgia. I just adore classic too much for it to bother me And thank you!

I understand what you mean and thats totally valid. I personally enjoy playing solo most of the time but when i do need help with a quest or dungeon I just simply ask in chat or find random people i come across :) im not much of a guild person but then again im extremely introverted haha XD

yeah then classic is maybe not for you, but you can still play classic as a singleplayer game, it will be a bit harder but its possible retail is a much better option if you just want to play solo :)
