Grrrae - if I could make one suggestion. When I’ve helped others it’s the lack of understanding of the balance of two mechanics that causes confusion. 1) Tombstone - you have to have enough time to fully die before being ported to ensure your TS is there for you the next game. 2) The glitch for retaining items / insured weapon etc when you are out of game. Both require timing. 1) Is going out of bounds at the 6secs count for portal. 2) Second is voting yes at the 2sec count for vote. Focus too much on one and you can be out of position for the other. Tips: 1) You can create a specific key to vote yes instead of opening the map. Some people struggle with running/dodging while voting yes with the map open. 2) Go to the boundary rock before you are ready to teleport this will give you a feel for the run and see the spot in person while you’re not under timed pressure. 3) Get the cola that makes you run fast the first 3-5 times till you get comfortable. This gives you a touch of breathing room, honestly I had a hard time doing it first without it. 4) Lastly, take in a purple rock or any rewards from contracts to test it. Do it successfully 3 times in a row to get a good feel for the timing before you bring in all your rare gear. That way if you mess up it’s not a big deal. Grrae your videos are the best out there for explaining this and I fully recognize you say most of these items but hopefully these tips help a few people who are struggling.

I wud like to add that u can force close at the black screen after the squad eliminated. You do not have to wait for it to say Dark Aether. Also u can still use the portal to the top right of the map to do this

@@Blue-iw9yj I believe that he will take this is really good constructive criticism really good because I am one of those people that some reason or another I'm not getting the timing correct I'm saying the teleportation warp or spiral whatever you call it but then the screen just goes black and I hear the squad and elimination sound but I don't see any visual the screen is just black and I'm using Xbox it is so frustrating then all of a sudden I go in and it's gone and when I get put on an Asian server but whenever I'm on an Asian server after 10:00 p.m. Pacific Ocean time or whatever they call it glitches out legs out and once the game lags out which it's been doing a lot lately modern warfare 3 it's gone... The biggest thing about it I find is people are very giving but then for some reason I strike people that I've given them everything schematics essence drop the thing whatever I could to help them out but do you think I can find assistance when I need to reset mine nopeanyway I've gone way off topic here thank you for your further explanation and I just wish I could see what others are seen on PlayStation I use the farm gate exit not the rocklyn because it's just easier for me

@Grrae - my buddy loaded in with me and dropped me some loot but he went to bathroom after drinking his perks and died at spawn are a and plead out, when i came back i revived him then he dropped me all of his items and then he just left the squad and died so he would have his TS, never closed the game, just went to start a new match and he had his weapons, selfie and all his loot that he dropped me, he also had his full TS AND he was able to stash ALL OF IT. we tried once later in the day to see if it worked again but we must have done something different the first time because we couldn't get it to work a second time after only trying once. that was earlier today. there is definitely something there, just don't have the time to keep trying. hopefully you can try it.

Do I HAVE to utilize my tombstone every time I come into a game in order to keep it? in other words, if I play any games and exfil without even using it, will all my stuff still be there when I do decide to use it? A random team that I played with hooked me up with everything and tons of money a couple weeks ago, but I've stayed out of "Zombies" ever since, because I am not confident in my own ability to manage it just yet.

When I waited tell it says dark aether I lost my insured weapon slot and my aether blade. Now I quit when the screen goes black after it says eliminated. But this last game today my tombstone showed but wasn’t there, multiple people said the same thing. Love loosing hundreds in essence due to actual problems they won’t fix over obsessing over the tombstone.

I don't know for sure but there might be a new glitch that happened to me. I got on an exfil chopper, before it exfiled I jump out and immediately went into an escenes portal pulled my shoot at the top and opened the map to look for the final exfil, while in my map though it successfully exfiled me and I got all my experience. when back at the main menu I had all the items I had when I initially started the match. I had all perks in game but don't know if that is necessary.

Sounds doable. Try it with a secondary account, just in case it doesn't work correctly. May end up being a big pain to get the timing right, but I would try it with the other members by the rock voting yes, then the runner cast the final vote at 2 seconds on the countdown timer. Let me know if it works! Part 2 of your question. All wonder weapons are lost after exiting the match. They are single use items, that are removed from loadout upon leaving the game. To combat this, keep one in your rucksack and one in your tombstone.

for gold you basically do the glitch as normal and set up your tombstone, close the game etc so you have your tombstone set and the duped items in your rucksack. Then you just go in next match, use the stuff in your backpack, go get the gold camo requirements done, then grab your stuff out of tombstone (DO NOT USE THESE ITEMS LIKE USUAL) and instead of dying/closing game, you exfil out normally and get gold. Then next match you go in and set up the glitch from fresh with the items you exfilled out from your last tomb. so you're basically alternating the glitch and a normal exfil to get your camos but also not spend your items. A bit tedious but it is what it is.

So every time I activate portal in building then run to bad signal ,activate that portal. by the time I get back to teleport to run out of bounds the teleport portal is not active. It worked 1st day or so but now no matter what i try it always closes as soon as i leave building. Tried with scorcher , stamina , jug etc. Idk activision patched my account or something. I'm on xbox btw time on count down is anywhere from 20 seconds left to like 15 seconds left when I get back to teleport.

If you need to, grab a quad and place it at the first set if doors facing the second set of doors. That gives you more time when you are running from the aether rift to the portal on the wall.

You won't be able to do missions if you haven't completed the bad signal mission. You have to select the Act 4 bad signal mission, therefore you can't select any other mission but that one.

Most of glichers are now ligit players you can see them in red zone fighting for contracts and going to elder at the end . Most of them keep racksack full for next game , without storing any items . Its more fun specially when you go there with 1 plat armor and no perks . Thanks for sharing the video .

so far nearly 100% for me now. I lost insured one time with perfect timing. I lost all gear, but kept tombstone on PC when I closed at eliminated screen. when I close right at dark aether logo I keep my items and TS. For me scorcher to the top of the building was key. I think I am on 18/20 perfect success and 2/20 times near success, but not much of a loss. I keep 2 scorchers in my TS just in case, also to give away to other players.

Bad signal portal is from the first Act 4 mission. If you’ve never gone into there to fully unlock it you’ll need to have the actual Bag Signal Mission activated in order for the portal to appear.

There is times I HIT THE timing right and there is times I don't, BUT When its time to start the game and check on my strike team character when I don't hit the timing right my items are still in my bag, and with my gun..............yes when I get back in the game I have no tombstone......... My question is what if I did die and go through the steps of setting the tombstone first, have someone pick me up and then start the process of the portal in the building, activate act 4, go through the portal, make it to the rocks, step out of bound, when the pink purple screen start, the screen turns black, and close the game wouldn't the tombstone be there in the next game?

You can do it! dupe a tombstone and farm contracts in tier 3 using those items and you can eventually find them. or have a friend make a tombstone and you use their items so you can exfil with the schematics

Fun fact. If you want to use the aether blade as a melee weapon. Make sure you equip a new blade when you load into the game. The glitched blade will not work as a melee weapon. So always have a aether blade case into your tombstone.

Oddly enough, I'd either lose my character but keep my Tombstone and insured weapons, or I'd keep my character but lose my insured weapons. What happens to me is when I teleport and then I run over to the edge of the map and accidentally go too far and step outside the map prior to hitting confirm on the bad signal mission. It won’t allow you to click Yes if you are outside of the map. The reason why that happens to me pretty frequently is because I like to make sure I know exactly where the edge of the map is so right when it says six seconds, I can immediately walk forward and be outside the map.

Now I understand that they have patched the amount that you have in your tombstone.…I like to have a legendary and ethereum Crystal a sculpture and Anita braid and golden plates every match all sorts handing to have a dog sometimes... Indoor keep being in my head against the wall so why is it working.... Just wondering why sometimes I'm luosing my backpage at 3 plate almost makes me want to set up two other accounts just to hold the money......

@RechaelJohn somebody set your tombstone for you or something is that what you're saying sorry I'm so new to the scene it's not funny I feel like a newborn baby. 😂😂😂 I mean I've been doing it but for some reason now the patched the duplication amount and I can't duplicator lot anyway I just like to go into a game with three plates the golden plates are amazing a dog bone a scorcher Eather blade, don't really need the essence notifying grinding camos and things like that but it's just frustrating because as I'm running I accept the contract I run out of bounds I get the vortex but then I get a black screen with nothing and I only hear the audible squad elimination and I'm Xbox not PC so I don't know when to actually close it so I always make sure my friend's got his am I going to set up another account just for the sake of a savings account if you will it might seem a bit extreme but to have one inch and a separate account that means that at least one of us has full cash full whatever until they patch it again at least there's two accounts we can practice' with you know as well as our original accounts because it's just it's not a competitive game in the sense of against other players you can go and solo and have a great time but it's the timing issue I'm having such a bad time with no pun intended

This is very easy to do after you’ve done it once or twice yourself.. btw I have about 190 items in my stash so when I use my stash items I just replace with a regular perk so the slot stays saved and once I dupe or get better items I just replace the perk slots with my new goodies. That way I never lose my slots I can use the items but still keep the 190 slots by temporarily aaving the slot with normal items.

@@tombrum4056 Sorry to say but once you delete it its gone for good since they patched it. The key was to never delete your slots but to just replace the items your using for your next game from your stash w normal items like (perks, green crystals and such) and later on replace the normal items your used to save your stash slots with rare items. You can no longer add more then 10. I just never deleted my stash item slots.

The difficulty is, after all that when you swap the green items back out of your stash for a gold item, you have to remember which gold items you added back to your stash because these will be registered as real items now

For some reason I do my tombstone use scorcher do the timing and everything, wait to close it after the portal to aether and close it on the black screen but for some reason on next game tombstone doesn’t appear

But have you had squad eliminated come up? If not then you arent timing it right. You got to votes yes to Bad Signal when that counter is at 2 seconds and then go out of bounds when the big counter at the top reaches 6. Then it will portal you and a couple secs later say squad eliminated. Then at black screen force quit

I do this on PS5. The portal closes when I return to it so I’m unable to do it by just running there so I use a quad and drive it through the building. The quad gives me time to shoot open the portal. Works every time.

This is a bug from the rewards swap glitch. You have to get 10/10 or under to stop this from happening.

Not doubting that it works I can see you doing it in the video; pretty sure my timing is too slow Four times already with no success. I just tried for the fourth time about 10 minutes ago and this time no eliminated screen and I entered the bad signal dark aether' I let the hellhounds and zombies take me down. Picked up a large backpack, tombstone perk to put in backpack to try again next game. No question that it works it's just I can't get the timing right and thanks Grrae for making an easier way of doing it. I have to work on my timming . LOL

I got put in the dark ether and didn't see the eliminated screen either and I did the worm and successfully exfilled and my next game my tombstone was there

Is there a way to do a tombstone glitch after doing a run in the dark aether? Because I want to go to elder but the only way to leave is through the exfil portal and that’s just like doing a normal exfil.

after you set your tombstone and go into the dark aether, you can just die in dark aether without tombstone, and without plea, then leave the game. That will save your tombstone, but you’ll lose plates, rucksack, etc. if you’re with a squad then they must exfil or get squad eliminated with you. just make sure you see squad eliminated, then leave. not a big deal since you should have tons of money after the aether.

It means your stash is too full. If it says anything more than 10/10 you will lose items every time

I can NOT get this to reliably work. 90% of the time I load back with the items still in my large ruck, my insured weapon and blade and everything as expected, but the tomb stone is almost never there. About 10% of the time I lose everything and no stone. Maybe 5% of the times I load back with everything the stone is set. I have tried drinking a can I brought in, I have tried buying it from a vending machine, no difference. Very odd

Ironically right after you replied it worked. I found adding a stamina-up to the TS helped to gain the extra second needed. Even with auto tactical sprint and running with hands it was very close

Ohhhh, that's why items keep vanishing when I exfil. BTW, tried this once with 6 minutes b4 storm spreads, Zombies were on bouncer duty at portal in building, LoL A$$ was handed 2 me so I self revived and went to exfil and wept.

FYI you can feel your stash past 10 as long as everything that is in your stash is an actual reward from the game. Not something someone gave to you and not something that you got from a bundle in store. It has to be an actual reward from the game itself from completing missions and so forth then with that in mind everything you duplicate you can now just simply hit square or x or whatever it is for you and put those items in your stash keep in mind though they cannot be items that are given to you from other players and or store bundle items Actual Rewards. Also I would not advise going over 205 because people were running into issues as well as myself and few of my friends where we had over 220 230 items in our stash and it was not allowing us to use our actual weapons what so ever we had to go in each game and buy weapons to use alao made game kinda buggy so i figured it out and deleted my stash to 205 and reset app and boom all good.
