The scorcher is definitely needed, as you can avoid having to run into zombies. I went in with a SMG and RGL-80, and the moment you start shooting, the whole zombie horde comes for you. Then it becomes mission impossible, although some people have managed to survive.

Also gershes (kazmirs) are needed bout 6 per person to feel comphy along with the 2 decoys you can bring in

For the Outlast, there is actually a trick you can do with the Scorcher that makes completing it easier than a regular gun. You take the angle between the two openings near the PND and shoot a line back and forth. The beam protects you when you're walking from side to side. It isn't full proof so you still gotta use Kazimirs or decoys when the ammo is low but it is effective. I've come to realize that there is no gun that is super effective because it has to be extremely lethal against bosses but still melt through zombies. Alot of guns can do both well but they don't do it well enough to make the Dark Aether easy to do. His VR11/ Scorcher combo is probably the best set up until you get more used to the Aether. Personally, I have to get used to using the VR11 more instead of just using it as a movement/ACV gun.

Love your video's man so i have some advice for everyone and this is how i did this dark aether myself, buy atleast 3 sentry guns b4 you go in one for the escort, one for the mega, and one for the outlast. Helps so much when running solo. Hope this helps ya'll. Spazo keep on making that awesome content my man.

Well done however, if you did 3 or 4 contracts in the T3 zone, you could have a large ruck and 2 sentry guns to throw on the ACV and it helps ALOT

I find taking multiple Sentry guns into the new Aether is good for the escort mission especially solo.

The new escort is not harder than the old escort in the season 1 rift and for one simple reason the new one doesn’t spawn mega abominations

we did old dark aether last night and encountered eleven freaking mega bombs, nine during the escort and two during outlast. It got a bit hectic to say the least. I have never seen so many spawn in.

On the outlast contract you can stand at the bottom of the stairs and fight the zombies from one direction need a good gun but good tip bro crossbow with exploding tips and deadline detonator is amazing for it

The gun he is holding, the Scorcher, allows you to shoot up/down and boost yourself into the air.

I think if you had used the scorcher to shoot the zombies trailing you on acv mission rather than using vr11 you would have smoked that contract with the amount of nukes that would have dropped. Damn you mace that outlast look easy. The scorcher actually good there

Tombstone has not worked a single time for me or my buddy. We joke around every time we see it saying its the best perk, because it does nothing for us haha.. and when i say it doesnt work i mean the way its supposed to, when you unwillingly die, yet somehow others use it to cheat and get tons of essence. Crazy...

I was so fortunate someone offered scorcher plans off rip and i said yes pls first and im a zone-one bum 😂 It definitely helps getting from one contract to another though to help me get into zone two where I’m getting more comfortable! Red zone soon!

You guys probably don’t know this but the More money you extract with it goes towards your schematic cool down time. So get as much money as you can to have reduce countdown time on schematics.
