BETTER TRICK: 1. Find the centre 2. Make a simple cross(not matching with lateral centre pieces) 3. Then at least 2 edges of the cross will match the lateral centre pieces (turn the cross to match) 4. Hold the cube in such a position that the cross is on the top, one of the matched pieces is on the right side of the cube and the other matched piece is behind the cube 5. Use this algorithm after holding it in the position mentioned above- R U R' U R U2 And there you go, you will have a perfect cross. Have a good day ahead.
