I actually trained myself to be sub 30 on 4x4 before I was sub 10 on 3x3. I use hoya as well but that's because im older and I turn slow. For me, getting fast at twisty puzzles was all about figuring out the most effecient and ergonomic methods for everything and then just drilling until i got it. Visualization training is so important and your videos are solid for explaininfg many of these steps.

@BrodytheCuber3 жыл бұрын
That's a good question! I'm actually not sure. I have no clue how viable Meyer is (or even if people get sub 30s with it at all) but I would say that you aren't far enough into either 3x3 method to make it hard to switch to Yau. Of course, it's up to you in the end though.

hello i have recently learned how to solve this 4 by 4 cube and the problem i am facing right now is while solving this cube is as follows : whenever i finish pairing up the all centres and the edge pieces ,,,,,,,,and move on to match the corners with the white centre (that is what i start with - white ) many times i see that the white will definitely match to the white centre but it does not match up with other colours [ for example : when i want to match the centre piece (white , red and blue ) ....................... the corner pieces will match to the white part but it does not match up with the red and blue centres ) although i have got my whole cube solved 60%times i solve it but i get this problem and then i have to start all over again . then i thought to give it a try solving whole cube with this problem but then i saw that that the same was happening with the opposite yellow side also ( with with same problem on white as well as on yellow side ),,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, i am sick and tired of this problem now please give a solution to it i will be eagerly waiting for your reply please please please help me out of it .

I think you forgot to mention the yj mgc 4x4, since it’s just as good as the aosu and the differences are really just personal preference. Also, the mini yj 4x4 is way better then the yuxin. Yeah it’s small, but for a new person, they won’t notice it.
