How to Solve Binary Puzzles

I'm thinking my book just doesn't give you enough of a head start because some of them are unfinishable without guessing.

I don't know how you are creating the puzzles, but if you are using software to make them then ensure you use a program that creates human-solvable puzzles: basically, that it uses an algorithm that emulates how humans solve them (as outlined in this video) rather than just recursively trying all options which is easy for a computer but can make puzzles essentially impossible for a human to solve

@@claritymediapuzzles no I bought a puzzle book of them and they just don't fill enough to make the puzzle solvable. Or maybe I'm just bad and there's more advanced tricks I don't know about, but I doubt it. I detest the idea of having to use trial and error.

@@AntiDoctor-cx2jd Ah, sorry to hear that - puzzles I've come across from mainstream publishers have been solvable logically but I have occasionally seen this puzzle type in self-published books where you basically just have to guess, which is no fun!
